SBI PO Prelims 2016 Admit Card Out Available for Download

SBI will be conducting recruitment for the post of Probationary Officers in the month of July 2016. The exam will be conducted in three stages namely – Prelims, Mains and the Final GD/PI.

As notified by the bank earlier, the admit cards for the eligible candidates are now available on the official website of SBI. The release date of Prelims Admit Card was 14th June 2016.  The prelims exam is scheduled to be help in a span of two consecutive weekends in the month of July.

The Admit card is a must in order to appear the exam. So, each candidate is expected to download

the admit card at the earliest and verify if the information is correct.

The prelims exam will be of 1 hour duration and it will consist of following sections:

  1. English Language
  2. Quantitative Aptitude
  3. Reasoning Ability

Important highlights for the Exam pattern followed in the preliminary exam are as follows:

  • The Preliminary examination is an objective type examination where the candidates need to select one correct option out of given four options.
  • The total mark of the exam is 100.
  • For every correct response provided, the candidates would be awarded 1 mark and for every wrong response ¼ mark will be deducted.
  • There will not be any deduction for no response.
  • The test would be conducted online.
  • The total time allotted is 60 minutes or 1 hour.
  • The candidates should note that there are three sections in the Preliminary examination which have sectional cutoffs which the candidates need to clear.

Exam Pattern of SBI PO 2016

SBI PO Exam requires a great hold on every section that is asked in SBI Clerk preliminary and Main Examinations along with the implementation of a perfect time table that helps in guiding about managing time well.
