IBPS RRB Exam is conducted in two stages for all the posts which include Prelims and Mains. How to Prepare for IBPS RRB Prelims 2018

Good news, guys! The Preliminary exam for IBPS RRB consists of two sections only – Reasoning Ability and Numerical Ability. You will get total of 45 minutes to complete both the sections. So, you need to assign around 20 minutes each for each section. Negative marking of 0.25 marks applies for each incorrect attempt. And therefore, you should attempt only those questions which you are 100% sure of. Also, keep in mind that this exam is of qualifying nature only. So, don’t stress your mind trying to score excessively high. You only need to clear the cutoff score.

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection has declared the results for RRB Officer Scale I, II, III Main Examination 2017 as well as the results for Single Entry Level Examination for RRB Officer Scale-II and RRB Officer Scale III exam 2017. The links for the results have been activated on the official website. Candidates who have written the examination would be able to check the result status on the website ibps.in.

Candidates are advised to check the result at the earliest with the direct links provided in this article. The scores for the RRB Officer Scale I Main Exam and RRB Officer Scale-II and III Examination would be released later. Also, the candidates would be provisionally selected on the basis of the marks attained in the main or single entry examination. The scores of the RRB Officer Scale I Prelims would not be considered.

Candidates who will qualify the Officers Scale I, II, III main exam under CRP- RRB-VI will subsequently be called for an Interview. The interviews will be conducted at select centres. The IBPS RRB‘s interview venue, centre, of the venue, time and the date would be informed to the shortlisted candidates in the call letter. Candidates who are qualified are required to download their interview call letters from authorised IBPS website www.ibps.in.

Scores obtained in the online examination (preliminary/main/single)

  • Office Assistant: The respective scores secured by the candidates only in the main examination will be considered for final merit listing
  • Officers scale I: Scores which is obtained by the candidates in the main examination would be considered for shortlisting for interview and final merit listing
  • Officers scale II (generalist and specialist) and scale III: Scores secured by the candidates in the single level examination will be considered for shortlisting for interview and final merit listing
