IBPS RRB Officer Scale Main Result 2017

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection has declared the results for RRB Officer Scale I, II, III Main Examination 2017 as well as the results for Single Entry Level Examination for RRB Officer Scale-II and RRB Officer Scale III exam 2017. The links for the results have been activated on the official website. Candidates who have written the examination would be able to check the result status on the website ibps.in.

Candidates are advised to check the result at the earliest with the direct links provided in this article. The scores for the RRB Officer Scale I Main Exam and RRB Officer Scale-II and III Examination would be released later. Also, the candidates would be provisionally selected on the basis of the marks attained in the main or single entry examination. The scores of the RRB Officer Scale I Prelims would not be considered.

Candidates who will qualify the Officers Scale I, II, III main exam under CRP- RRB-VI will subsequently be called for an Interview. The interviews will be conducted at select centres. The IBPS RRB‘s interview venue, centre, of the venue, time and the date would be informed to the shortlisted candidates in the call letter. Candidates who are qualified are required to download their interview call letters from authorised IBPS website www.ibps.in.

Scores obtained in the online examination (preliminary/main/single)

  • Office Assistant: The respective scores secured by the candidates only in the main examination will be considered for final merit listing
  • Officers scale I: Scores which is obtained by the candidates in the main examination would be considered for shortlisting for interview and final merit listing
  • Officers scale II (generalist and specialist) and scale III: Scores secured by the candidates in the single level examination will be considered for shortlisting for interview and final merit listing

For Office Assistants (Multipurpose) VI – Each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score in each test of Online Main examination to be considered to be shortlisted for provisional allotment. Depending on the number of vacancies available in each state, candidates will be shortlisted for provisional allotment.

  3. Enter Registration Number and Password
  4. Enter Captcha Code and Click Login
  5. Admit Card will display on the Screen
  6. Download Admit card/ Hall Ticket
  7. Take Print Out of Admit card

Important notes for IBPS RRB VI Multipurpose Admit card: The Admit card or call letter will not be issued off line. Candidates must visit the official website to download the call letter or admit card. Candidate must carry IBPS RRB Office Assistant (Multipurpose) Admit Card with them to the examination hall. The Hall ticket is issued only in online mode and will not be send to candidate via post of courier. Candidate must carry any one valid government identity proof like AADHAR, PAN, Drivers license, etc and must produce identity card along with call letter or hall ticket.

Selection Process in IBPS RRB: IBPS RRB Officer Scale I Selection Process 2017

The selection procedure of IBPS RRB comprises of online exams comprises of Prelims, mains and single exam and an interview. The IBPS RRB 2017 selection procedure that has several steps to it namely:

For Officer Scale- I (Assistant Manager)– Candidate should be above 18 years – Below 30 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.07.1987 and later than 30.06.1999 (both dates inclusive)

Language Option: The best part about IBPS RRB is that one can give the exam in both Hindi and English except the language paper ie either Hindi and English. Since, the recruitment of IBPS RRB’s is for rural areas, candidate must know to speak regional language very well without which it can be difficult to get selected in IBPS RRB’s.

Mode of Selection:

The road map to success in IBPS RRB can be achieved only by aspirants who prepare well for the exams. Candidates will have to prepare well in order to succeed in the exams.

There are two phases for IBPS RRB preliminary and mains examination. Candidates who qualify in the preliminary examination will be allowed to write the mains examination. Candidate have to score well by clearing sectional cutoff and by scoring a good overall cutoff.

Importance of Marking scheme: Candidates need to note that there will be objective tests and candidates will lose ¼ or 0.25 marks for every wrong answer attempted. Questions that are left blank will not have any negative marking.

CUTOFF SCORE : Candidate applying for Officer Scale I – each candidate is required to obtain minimum cut off score in each test of online main examination will be considered to be shortlisted for interview. Candidates have to clear sectional cutoff and overall cutoff in Preliminary exams and Mains exam to qualify for the interview process.
