RBI Assistant Admit Card/ Exam Day Instructions 2020

There is a set of rules and instructions that should be followed on the day of the exam. Candidates must note this important set of rules for the day of the exam. Follow these 8 Important Exam Day Instructions -

  1. No candidate will be allowed inside the exam Hall without the RBI Assistant Hall Ticket.
  2. The candidate's Identification proof along with 2 Photographs is a must.
  3. Candidates are not allowed to bring any electronic gadgets- calculators, watches or phones, etc. inside the exam hall.
  4. All candidates must reach the exam center 90 minutes before the exam starts.
  5. Don't bring any loose sheet of paper to the exam hall. Candidates will be provided with rough sheets during the exam.
  6. Students can carry a ball pen with black/blue ink.
  7. No candidate will be allowed to leave the exam center till the designated time is over.
  8. It is essential to follow these instructions. RBI will disqualify any student who doesn't follow these set of instructions during the time of the exam.

Last 15 Days Preparation Tips 

As soon as you receive your Admit Card, there will be left very less time in your hands to prepare and revise for your Prelims exam. The following tips may help you in such a scenario-

  • Stop reading new topics and books during the last 15 days of the exam. Instead, focus on revising what you have already gone through.

RBI Assistant Prelims Questions Asked – Reasoning

The Puzzle and Seating arrangement questions holds the secret for cracking the reasoning section. The Seating asked in the 2nd slot was , one linear arrangement based on 4 persons facing south. The circular arrangement asked was based on eight persons facing inwards which was pretty much same as that of the of the one asked in the SLOT 3 of the yesterday’s one.

The Puzzle was a based on various things which includes days which are not in definite order.

Alphabet series and Number series dominate the reasoning section and since this is an assistant exam , the questions were this level and when compared to the scores of previous ones, this will be greater, this year.

There were less number of miscellaneous questions asked, so the chances of scoring in the particular topic in the exam is less.

English Language – RBI Assistant Prelims Questions Asked

Reading Comprehension was based on a story and this along with the Fillers constituted maximum number of questions. Again phase replacement questions were asked in this slot too. The Reading Comprehension was based on a King insisting his son to get married. Overall this section will be the next score maker after the reasoning section. There will be negative marking for wrong answers in the objective tests in both the preliminary and mains exam. Candidates will lose 0.25 or 1/4th marks for every wrong answer.

Candidates must clear sectional cutoff and overall cutoff in preliminary, mains exam and language proficiency test to be selected as RBI assistant.
