There is no upper age limit applicable to anyone who wants to apply for the exam. But, the lower age limit has to be 20 years old and for the candidates who belong to SC/ST and PhD (Physically Disabled) categories, and for others the lower age limit is 22 years old.

From the year 2019 onwards, the National Law Universities give admissions to the candidates based on their score in CLAT Exam. They offer around 2900 seats (not total). The number can fluctuate.

Given below is the CLAT Cut Off 2017 (WBNUJS) for BA LLB for all categories:

• The most important aspect is to practice the previous year’s question papers and attempt as many mock tests as possible.
• Read a variety of English magazines and newspapers along with documentaries and films.
• Learn new words along with their synonyms and antonyms and understand their meaning explicitly.
• Understand the basics and rules of grammar instead of applying instinct and improve your speed of reading

The medium of the question paper is English and involves Multiple Choice Questions. For each correct answer, the candidate is awarded 1 mark; for each wrong answer, 0.25 marks are deducted. The total time duration to complete the CLAT Exam is 2 hours.
