What is IPMAT Indore 2025?

It is an exam conducted by IIM Indore for admission into Integrated Program in Management (IPM), which is offered for a course duration of 5 years. The exam is a dual-degree program that IIM Indore offers that combines a bachelor's degree and a master's degree. 

What is IPMAT Rohtak 2025?

IPMAT Rohtak, is again the admission test conducted by IIM Rohtak for admission into their Integrated Program in Management (IPM) for 5 years. Note that the exam pattern and syllabus slightly differ for both Indore and Rohtak.

What is JIPMAT Exam 2025?

NTA is the conducting body of JIPMAT for students to take admissions in IIM Jammu and IIM Bodhgaya for the IPM program. 

IPM is a dual-degree program that is currently offered by 5 IIMs viz., IIM Indore, IIM Rohtak, IIM Ranchi, IIM Jammu and IIM Bodhgaya that combines a bachelor's degree and a master's degree (mostly BBA + MBA). The curriculum is intended for students who want to pursue careers in management and business. 

IIM Ranchi, Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), TAPMI, Krea University's IFMR, NIRMA, NALSAR, Alliance University, NICMAR University and Master' Union also accept IPMAT scores for its management courses viz., IPM and BBA. 

IPMAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria will vary for both domestic and international applicants.

To apply for the IPMAT test, you must satisfy the IIM IPM eligibility.

IIM Indore Exam Eligibility Criteria

• Age: You should be born on or after August 01, 2005 (5 years of relaxation to the candidates from SC/ST/PwD category will be given).
• Qualifying Exam: You should have passed Standard XII/ HSC or equivalent examination in 2023, 2024 or 2025.
• NO Minimum Percentage (%) in either grade X or XII is required.

Note: Candidates likely to complete standard XII/ HSC or equivalent can also apply, subject to meeting the eligibility criteria mentioned above.

If selected, such candidates will be offered admission to the program provisionally. At the time of registration for the program, such candidate must have to produce standard X/ SSC and standard XII/ HSC or equivalent examinations mark sheet (securing minimum marks, as indicated above) along with a school leaving certificate/migration certificate, failing which the candidate’s provisional admission offer will stand cancelled.

IIM Rohtak Exam Eligibility Criteria

You must satisfy the following criteria to apply.

• General, NC-OBC and EWS Category: You must score at least 60% in standard X/ SSC and standard XII/ HSC or equivalent examinations.
• SC, ST and PWD (DAP) Category: You must score at least 55% in standard X/ SSC and standard XII/ HSC or equivalent examinations.  
• Age: You should be a maximum of 20 as of June 30, 2025. 

Note 1: Candidates likely to complete standard XII/ HSC or equivalent by the end of June 2025 can also apply, subject to meeting the minimum eligibility criteria after the declaration of results (only in the case of the XIIth standard) as mentioned above. If selected, such candidates will be offered admission to the program provisionally. At the time of registration for the program, such candidates must produce X and XII standard mark sheets (securing minimum marks, i.e. 60% for General, EWS, and NCOBC or 55% for SC, ST, and PWD) along with school leaving certificate/migration certificate, failing which the candidate’s admission offer stands cancelled.

Note 2: The percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in X and XII Standard would be calculated based on the aggregate marks of the best five subjects that appear in the mark sheet/grade sheet, irrespective of the Board’s regulation. If the candidates are awarded letter grades or grade points instead of marks, the conversion of grades to the percentage of marks of the best five subjects would be based on the procedure certified by the Board/ Competent Authority explaining the method of conversion from where they obtained the certificate.

IIM Ranchi Exam Eligibility Criteria 2025

To be eligible for IPMAT Ranchi, candidates must have cleared Standard X/ SSC and Standard XII/ HSC or equivalent with a minimum of 60% marks for General, NC-OBC, and EWS categories, and 55% for SC, ST, and PwD categories. The final percentage is calculated based on the aggregate marks of all subjects appearing in the mark sheet unless specified otherwise by the concerned Board.

• Age Limit: No specific age limit mentioned.
• Admission Test: IIM Ranchi accepts only IPMAT scores conducted by IIM Indore.
• Provisional Admission: Candidates awaiting Standard XII results may apply provisionally, needing to submit final marks and a school leaving certificate at registration, failing which the offer will be revoked.

Note: IIM Ranchi reserves the right to modify or change the admission process and eligibility criteria. Candidates are advised to regularly check the IIM Ranchi website for the latest updates and information regarding the admission process.

IIM Jammu Exam Eligibility Criteria 2025

Candidates must have successfully completed Standard XII/ HSC or equivalent examination in the years 2023, 2024, or are expected to complete in 2025 are eligible for IIM Jammu IPM. 

• Minimum Percentage: Applicants must have scored at least 60% in Standard X/ SSC and Standard XII/ HSC or equivalent examinations. For candidates from SC, ST, and PwD categories, the minimum required percentage is 55%.
• Eligibility for International Applicants: Candidates who are pursuing their XII standard from international schools affiliated with foreign boards like IGCSE (International General Certificate for Secondary Education) and IB (International Baccalaureate) are also eligible to apply.

Note: This eligibility criteria is subject to change. Candidates are encouraged to regularly check the IIM Jammu website for any updates or modifications to the admission requirements.

IIM Bodh Gaya Exam Eligibility Criteria 2025

Candidates must have passed the 10+2/ XII/ HSC examination in arts, commerce, or science streams or equivalent with a minimum of 60% (55% for candidates from SC, ST, PwD, and Transgender categories) in 2023, 2024, or are expected to complete in 2025.

• Minimum Percentage: Applicants must also have achieved at least 60% in the Class X examination (55% for candidates from SC, ST, PwD, and Transgender categories).
• Percentage Calculation: The percentage of marks obtained in Class X and XII will be calculated according to the Board’s regulations. If no specific regulations exist, the aggregate marks of all subjects appearing in the grade sheet will be considered for calculating the final percentage.
• Provisional Admission: Candidates currently in their final year of Standard XII can apply provisionally. However, their admission remains provisional until the final Class XII results are confirmed. Candidates failing to meet the requisite scores will be removed from the admission process.

Note: These eligibility criteria are subject to change. Prospective candidates should continuously monitor the IIM Bodh Gaya website for any updates or changes to the admission requirements.

IIFT Kakinada IPM Eligibility Criteria 2025

Candidates must have completed the 10+2/XII/HSC examination in the arts, commerce, or science stream, or an equivalent qualification, with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwD/Transgender candidates) in 2023, 2024, or are appearing in 2025.

Applicants should have passed the class 10th examination with a minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwD/Transgender candidates) in or after 2021.

Students who are expected to complete their XII/HSC or equivalent examination by July 31, 2025, are also eligible to apply, provided they meet the above criteria.

It is mandatory to have studied Mathematics/Business Mathematics/Applied Mathematics at the +2 level.

Age Criteria

Candidates must have been born on or after August 1, 2005. However, there is a relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/PwD candidates, allowing those born on or after August 1, 2000, to apply.

IPMAT 2025 Selection Process

The IPMAT Selection Process is a two-step process different for domestic and international applicants. Go through the detailed IPMAT selection process given in the post below.

IIM Indore Selection Process 2025

Stage I: Online Registration

(i) Interested applicants who fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria should submit their application online as described previously in the application procedure. (ii) A non-refundable registration fee will be applicable during the application submission process.

Stage II: Entrance Exam

(i) Eligible applicants will undergo the IPM Aptitude Test (AT) conducted by IIM Indore, examining the applicant's proficiency in Quantitative Ability (Multiple Choice Questions), Quantitative Ability (Short Answer Questions), and Verbal Ability (Multiple Choice Questions).
(ii) IPM AT Indore to be conducted in May 2025 (tentatively).

Stage III: Shortlisting for Personal Interview (PI)

(i) The eligible pool for the Personal Interview (PI) is created based on candidates having positive raw scores and a minimum mark in each section of the Aptitude Test. The cut-off marks for each section will be decided by the Admissions Committee and will vary based on the categories of applicants.
(ii) Shortlisted candidates will be invited for the Personal Interview (PI), which will be held through online or offline mode as intimated by the Institute.

Stage IV: Online Personal Interview (PI)

(i) Shortlisted candidates will participate in the Online Personal Interview, judged on their academic performance, general awareness, and communication skills.
(ii) The Personal Interviews are tentatively scheduled for the second week of June 2025.

Stage V: Final Selection and Merit List

(i) The final Merit List will be generated based on the composite score of the Aptitude Test Score (ATS) and Personal Interview (PI) scores.
(ii) The Composite Score (CS) will be calculated as follows:

• Aptitude Test Score (ATS): 65%
• Personal Interview (PI): 35%
• Composite Score (CS): Sum of ATS and PI scores

The category-wise merit list will be generated, and provisional admission offers will be made based on the Composite Score (CS) and adhering to the Government of India reservation norms.

IIM Rohtak Selection Process 2025

Stage I: Online Registration 

(i) Interested applicants who fulfil the above-mentioned eligibility criteria will fill out the registration form that evaluates the applicant’s proficiency in academics and extra-curricular activities. 
(ii) The eligible applicants will pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs. 4500/- (Four Thousand One Hundred Seventy-Five Only)

Stage II: Entrance Exam

(i) All the interested applicants will undergo IIM Rohtak’s IPM Aptitude Test, which will examine the applicant's aptitude, logical reasoning, and proficiency in English.
(ii) IPM AT to be conducted in May 2025 (tentatively).

Stage III: Online Personal Interview (PI)

(i) The Call for Online Personal Interviews (PI) announcement will be done in the First Week of June 2025. The shortlisting will be based on the IPMAT 2025 scores.
(ii) during their personal interviews, the candidates will be judged based on their academics, general awareness, and communication skills.
(iii) The interviews are proposed to be held in the Second Week of June 2025 (Tentative)

Stage IV: Announcement of Selection List and Offer Acceptance

The final Merit List will be generated based on the composite score of IPMAT 2025, Past Academics, and Personal Interviews. 

IIM Ranchi Selection Process 2025

• Stage 1: Appearing for IPMAT Indore as students clearing the test will be selected for the IPM Ranchi program. SAT scores are no longer valid.
• Stage 2: The shortlisted students will be called for the offline Personal Interviews (PI). The shortlisting will be based on the IPMAT Indore 2025 scores.
• Stage 3: Final selection will be on the on the aggregate of Aptitude test, PI as well as academic profile.

IIM Jammu Selection Process 2025

The selection process of IIM Jammu consists of:

• Stage 1: The Joint Integrated Program in Management Admission Test (JIPMAT) will be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA).
• Stage 2: The Merit list will be prepared based on JIPMAT Score and gender diversity.

Note: There will be no Personal Interview (PI).

IIM Bodh Gaya Selection Process 2025

The admission to IPM would be ONLY on the basis of Joint Integrated Program Admission Test (JIPMAT 2025) in IIM Bodhgaya. The exam will be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) on behalf of IIM Bodh Gaya and IIM Jammu. 

Stage I: Online Registration

(i) Interested applicants who fulfill the eligibility criteria should submit their application online as outlined in the application procedure. (ii) A non-refundable registration fee will be required during the application submission.

Stage II: Entrance Exam

(i) Admission to the IPM program will be through the Joint IPM Admission Test (JIPMAT 2025), conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on behalf of IIM Bodh Gaya and IIM Jammu. IIM Bodh Gaya may also explore joint examination options with other IIMs offering the IPM program.
(ii) The exam will assess the candidate's aptitude across various sections.

Stage III: Merit List Preparation

(i) The marks obtained in the JIPMAT 2025 will be used to prepare the merit list. Candidates who score more than or equal to the category-wise sectional percentile 30 will be eligible for the Merit List.
(ii) Government of India rules for reservation in admission will apply to SC, ST, NC-OBC, EWS, and PwD categories.
(iii) 70% of seats are gender-neutral. In case the optimal number of girls in various reservation categories is not met within the gender-neutral pool, the remaining 30% of seats will be a combination of gender-neutral and supernumerary girls (SNG) seats to promote a healthy gender ratio on campus while maintaining merit as the primary consideration.
(iv) Sectional raw scores will be subject to minimum qualifying requirements, decided after the results based on the available pool of candidates.

Stage IV: Tie-breaking Rule for Merit List

If the overall composite scores of two or more students are the same, they will be ranked based on the following criteria, in order:

1. Higher overall JIPMAT score.
2. Higher VARC section score.
3. Higher QA section score.
4. Higher DILR section score.
5. Higher Class X score.
6. Higher Class XII score.
7. More recent appearance in Class XII.
8. More recent appearance in Class X.
9. Younger date of birth.

IPMAT 2025 Exam Pattern

As per the IPMAT Exam Pattern, the exam is conducted online mode. Admissions are made through a 3-stage selection process, as explained below.

IPMAT Indore Exam Pattern 

• There will be three sections in the Aptitude Test, namely Quantitative Ability (Multiple Choice Question-MCQ), Quantitative Ability (Short Answer Question-SA) and Verbal Ability (Multiple Choice Question-MCQ).
• Each question will carry 4 marks.
• There will be a negative marking of 1 negative mark for each wrong answer except Quantitative Ability (SA) Section (these questions will not carry any negative marking).
• IIM Indore never reveals the number of questions being asked in the exam beforehand.

IPMAT 2025 Seat Intake and Reservation Policy

The Government of India has implied a fixed percentage for seat reservations of different categories. Check the table below.

• Autism, intellectual disability, specific learning disability, and mental illness (or)
• Other 'specified disabilities' mentioned in 'The Schedule' of the RPwD Act 2016
