JIPMAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria

For admission to the Integrated Program in Management (IPM) at IIM Jammu and IIM Bodh Gaya, students must meet the sectional and overall cutoff marks specified by each institute individually for the JIPMAT exam.

The selection process involves meeting these cutoffs and considering the JIPMAT scores, as well as gender diversity, in preparing the merit list.

Age Criteria

• You should have passed Standard XII/HSC or equivalent examinations in the arts/commerce/science stream or equivalent in 2023, 2024, 2025 or 2026.

Qualifying Examination

• Minimum 60% in standard X/ SSC and standard XII/ HSC or equivalent examinations (55% for SC/ST/ PwD category).
• You can still apply if you’re likely to complete Standard XII/HSC or an equivalent by the end of July 31st, 2026.
• Candidates should have passed the Class 10th examination, not earlier than 2021.

International Schools

• Applicants pursuing their 12th standard from international schools affiliated with foreign boards, such as IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) and IB (International Baccalaureate), can also apply. 

The list of accepted exams includes the following: 

• Any recognized Central/State Board exam, such as the Central Board of Secondary Education and Council for Indian School Certificate Examination or State Boards of Secondary Education.
• Intermediate or two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognized Board/ University.
• The Senior Secondary School Examination was conducted by the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) and the State Board of Open Schooling. It had a minimum of five subjects, including English.
