The JIPMAT (Joint Integrated Programme in Management Admission Test) exam is a national entrance exam for the IPM programs in IIM Bodhgaya and IIM Jammu.
The IPM program is a five-year program that, upon completion, will award you a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration.
The selection process for JIPMAT admission to the IPM program at IIM Jammu and IIM Bodh Gaya comprises four stages: online registration, the JIPMAT entrance exam, merit list preparation, and counselling.

IIM Jammu pioneered the JIPMAT exam for admission to the five-year IPM program at IIM Jammu.
This unique and creative program aims to prepare young students like you with full managerial and decision-making capabilities.
For JIPMAT 2026 Admission to the IPM program, you need to qualify for the entrance exam.
Based on the JIPMAT cut-off score, you can choose a particular IPM program.
The institute will offer around 140 seats for the IPM program.
To be eligible for IIM Jammu IPM, candidates must have completed Standard XII/ HSC or an equivalent examination in 2023 and 2024 or are expected to complete it in 2026.
Minimum Percentage: Applicants must have scored at least 60% in Standard X/ SSC and Standard XII/ HSC or equivalent examinations. The minimum required percentage for candidates from the SC, ST, and PwD categories is 55%.
Also, the candidate must have passed the 10th class examination in the year not before 2021.
Eligibility for International Applicants: Candidates pursuing their XII standard from international schools affiliated with foreign boards like IGCSE (International General Certificate for Secondary Education) and IB (International Baccalaureate) can apply.

IIM Jammu provides the reservation as per the Government of India Reservation Policy in case you fall under any one of the following categories:

IIM Bodhgaya started its IPM program in 2021. As we all know, it will start the 5-year IPM program in the academic session of 2026.
After you complete the course, IIM Bodh Gaya will award you a Bachelor of Business Management and a Master of Business Administration.
Candidates must have passed the 10+2/ XII/ HSC examination in arts, commerce, or science streams or equivalent with a minimum of 60% (55% for candidates from SC, ST, PwD, and Transgender categories) in 2024 or are expected to complete in 2026.
Also, the candidate must have passed the 10th class examination in 2022 or later.
Minimum Percentage: Applicants must also have achieved at least 60% in the Class X examination (55% for candidates from SC, ST, PwD, and Transgender categories).
Percentage Calculation: The marks obtained in Class X and XII will be calculated according to the Board’s regulations. If no specific laws exist, the aggregate marks of all subjects appearing in the grade sheet will be considered for calculating the final percentage.
Provisional Admission: Candidates in their final year of Standard XII can apply provisionally. However, their JIPMAT admission remains provisional until the final Class XII results are confirmed. Candidates who fail to meet the required scores will be removed from the admission process.

Admission to IPM will be based ONLY on the Joint Integrated Program Admission Test (JIPMAT 2026) at IIM Bodhgaya. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the IIM Bodh Gaya and IIM Jammu exams.
(i) Interested applicants who fulfil the eligibility criteria should submit their application online as outlined in the application procedure. (ii) A non-refundable registration fee will be required upon application submission.
(i) Admission to the IPM program will be through the Joint IPM Admission Test (JIPMAT 2026), conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on behalf of IIM Bodh Gaya and IIM Jammu. IIM Bodh Gaya may also explore joint examination options with other IIMs offering the IPM program.
(ii) The exam will assess the candidate's aptitude across various sections.
(i) The marks obtained in the JIPMAT 2026 will be used to prepare the merit list. Candidates who score more than or equal to the category-wise sectional percentile 30 will be eligible for the Merit List.
(ii) Government of India rules for reservation in JIPMAT admission will apply to SC, ST, NC-OBC, EWS, and PwD categories.
(iii) 70% of seats are gender-neutral. If the optimal number of girls across reservation categories is not met within the gender-neutral pool, the remaining 30% of seats will be allocated as a combination of gender-neutral and supernumerary girls (SNG) seats to promote a healthy gender ratio on campus while maintaining merit as the primary consideration.
(iv) Sectional raw scores will be subject to minimum qualifying requirements, which will be decided after the JIPMAT results based on the available pool of candidates.
If the overall composite scores of two or more students are the same, they will be ranked based on the following criteria in order:
