Summary: JIPMAT 2024 (Joint Integrated Programme in Management Admission Test) is a national entrance exam for a 5-year comprehensive management programme. JIPMAT results are used by IIM Bodh Gaya and IIM Jammu to help with IPM applications.
The five-year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) is a new and innovative curriculum designed for prospective management candidates. It seeks to produce compassionate managers and leaders through a framework of quality technology in natural sciences supplemented by knowledge management.
Through the IPM, you will be able to demonstrate language abilities, interpersonal and communication skills, a grasp of basic management disciplines, ethical behaviour, and overall well-being. This article will lead you towards the admission process of both IIM Jammu and IIM Bodh Gaya.
The National Testing Agency is responsible for conducting the JIPMAT Exam for providing admissions to the 5-year IPM program at IIM Jammu and IIM Bodh Gaya.
Only students who will score above the cut-off in the Joint Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test are eligible for the admission process.

This post shall guide you through the detailed JIPMAT 2024 Admissions at both IIMs.
IIM Jammu was the first pioneer to introduce the JIPMAT exam for admission to the five-year IPM program, a unique and creative program that aims to prepare young students like you with full managerial and decision-making capabilities.
For IPM Admission, you need to qualify for the entrance exam. Based on the JIPMAT Cut Off score, you will be given the freedom to choose a particular IPM program as per your choice. The institute will offer around 60 seats for the IPM program.
The selection process for the JIPMAT exam at IIM Jammu involves four stages, as explained below:

Merit List Criteria at IIM Jammu for IPM
The merit list is prepared based on the composite score comprising the weightage of the JIPMAT score, academic profile of class 10th and 12th, and gender diversity, as mentioned in the table below.

Counselling
IIM Jammu provides the reservation as per the Government of India Reservation Policy in case you fall under any one of the following categories:

After the merit list declaration, IIM Jammu will ask you to register for the expression of interest. After completing registration, you will receive the admission offer as per the vacant seat and your order in the merit list.
You need to send the offer acceptance amount of Rs. 50,000 within the stipulated time if you accept the offer. The institute will adjust the amount for the Term 1 fee.
Also, there is an option to withdraw your offer within the withdrawal date specified by the institute. However, offer acceptance will be refunded after deducting Rs.1000 as processing charges.
Note that the institute will initiate no refund if you withdraw the offer after completing the specified date.
As we all know, IIM Bodh Gaya will start the 5-year IPM program from the academic session of 2024. The program aims to prepare young students like you from a foundation level for taking up leadership positions in corporate offices/government organizations.
Also, the program intends to give you a global perspective on management practice.
IIM Bodh Gaya will award you a Bachelor of Business Management and Master of Business Administration after completing your course.
To apply for the IPM program at IIM Bodh Gaya, you should have passed 10+2/XII/HSC examination in the arts/commerce/science stream with an aggregate of 60% marks in 2019, 2020, or appearing in 2024.
However, 5% relaxation is provided if you belong to the SC/ST/PwD category.
Also, you must have passed the 10th class with an aggregate of 60% or more after the year 2017. If you belong to the SC/ST/PwD category, you must have scored 55% in your 10th standard.
Based on the Board's regulation, the institute would calculate the marks obtained by you in the 10th and 12th standards.
