IIM Jammu Introduces IPM Program - Check Eligibility, Selection Process

IIM Jammu announces the launch of the IPM Program for 2021-2026. It's a lucky year for all IPM aspirants as one more IIM introduces the IPM program. 

This is the 5th IIM launching the program and the 3rd consecutive IIM introducing the course in 2021. 

Initially, only 60 seats are announced, however, in the next batches the number would be increased gradually.

Adding IIM Jammu, the total seats for IPM Program across the country is around 600 now. More IIMs are expected to come with the program very soon.

Integrated Programme in Management, being a costly course requires a lot of infrastructures. Thus, beginning with fewer numbers and moving on to more seats is a great decision. 

So, this year you can apply for 5 IIMs together for pursuing a 5-year IPM course. There is no separate exam as per the reports. You need to appear for an entrance exam and the scores will be considered for final selection.

IIM Jammu Eligibility Criteria

A minimum of 60% in 10th and 12th is required to apply for IPMAT.

If you are studying 12th in 2021, you can also apply for the program. You will be given admission provisionally, however you must submit the 12th marks sheet once selected. 

If you are studying foreign board i.e., IGCSE and IB, you can also apply for IIM Jammu Indian Institute of Management. 

Exam Pattern & Syllabus 

IIM Jammu shall conduct an entrance exam named: AEE (Admission Entrance Exam) that includes three categories:

• Verbal Ability - 35 Questions, 35 Minutes
• Quantitative Ability - 35 Questions, 35 Minutes
• Logical Reasoning - 30 Questions, 30 Minutes

The exam is conducted for 200 marks wherein each correct answer carries 2 marks and 0.5 marks shall be deducted for wrong answers.

Selection Process for IIM Jammu IPM Program

You need to fill an application form by paying Rs 2000/- if you belong to General or OBC while Rs 1000/- for SC/ST/PwD categories. After consideration of applications, you need to appear for AEE (Admission Entrance Exam)

Also, as per the reports, IIM Jammu is not going to conduct Skill Assessment Round. Generally, other IIMs conducts an aptitude test followed by an interview or video-based assessment. But, there is no confirmation on the interview yet by IIM Jammu. 

The final selection for the IPM Program depends on the weightage of various parameters.
