IPMAT 2023 Age Limit

  • If you belong to the general category, then your maximum age should be 20 years as of July 31, 2023.
  • If you fall into SC/ST/PwD category, you will get a relaxation age of 5 years.

Educational Qualification Required to take IPMAT 2023 Exam

  • You should have passed Standard XII/HSC or equivalent examinations in 2019 and 2020 to qualify for the IPMAT exam.
  • You can apply for the exam if you complete XII/ HSC standard or equivalent by the end of June 30, 2021. However, the eligibility criteria must be fulfilled.

IPMAT Minimum Percentage of Marks

  • If you belong to the General category, you must have scored at least 60% of marks in standard X/ SSC and standard XII/ HSC or equivalent examinations.
  • If you belong to the SC/ST/ PwD category, your minimum percentage should be 55%  in standard X/ SSC and standard XII/ HSC or equivalent examinations.

  • At the time of registration, you must produce a standard X/ SSC, and standard XII/ HSC or equivalent examinations mark sheet along with a school-leaving certificate/migration certificate. Otherwise, the provisional admission offer will get cancelled.
  • The percentage of marks obtained by you in X and XII Standard will be calculated based on the aggregate marks of all subjects that appear in the mark sheet/grade sheet, irrespective of the Board's regulation.
  • If you are awarded letter grades or grade points instead of marks, the conversion of grades to the percentage of marks would be based on the procedure certified by the Board or Authority explaining the method of conversion from where you have obtained the certificate.
  • Applicants pursuing their X and/or XII standard from international schools affiliated with foreign boards like IGCSE (International General Certificate for Secondary Education) and IB (International Baccalaureate) can also apply.
  • IIM Indore reserves the right to decide the eligibility conditions in terms of equivalence, percentage marks, the recognition of the qualifying examination, intake, etc.

IPMAT 2023 Reservation Policy

The IIM Indore will offer a certain percentage of reservations for various categories. To avail of a reservation, you need to submit valid documents signed by the competent authority to ascertain the eligibility status to apply under the reserved category (NC-OBC/SC/ST/EWSs/ PwD).
