Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Indore has revised the selection process for IPMAT 2021. As per the revised structure, a video assessment test will be conducted instead of a written test and a personal interview.

The selection process of IPMAT 2021 involves five stages as explained below. Note that the final scores will be calculated on the basis of an aptitude test and video-based assessment.

As per the IPMAT Exam Pattern 2021, there will be three sections in the Aptitude Test: Quantitative Ability (Multiple Choice Question-MCQ), Quantitative Ability (Short Answer Question-SA), and Verbal Ability (Multiple Choice Question-MCQ).
There are a total of 60 questions in the aptitude test and each question carries 4 marks. Also, there is a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer except for in the Quantitative Ability (SA) Section.

At this stage, you will get qualified for the video assessment round on the basis of positive raw scores and a minimum mark in each of the three sections of the Aptitude Test.
You will be shortlisted for video assessment on the basis of the merit list generated based on the Aptitude Test Score (ATS).
The scores are calculated based on the below parameters.

If you are applying to the five-year IPM of IIM Indore as an international applicant, then you will be selected based on your performance in SAT, Written Ability Test (WAT) & Personal Interview (PI). You shall not be considered for the final selection process if you fail to appear either in SAT, WAT, and PI
You will be considered for the final selection process only if you satisfy the requirements mentioned in the earlier stages. The final merit list will be generated based on the Composite Score (CS) as follows:
