IIM Ranchi IPMAT Program Eligibility Criteria 2026

Applicants must have earned at least 60% (55% for candidates from SC/ST/PWD) of the required marks in the 10th/Secondary/SSC Examination and the 12th/Higher Secondary/HSC Examination (or equivalent).

According to the Board's rules, the proportion of marks the candidate earned in the 10th and 12th will be determined.

The aggregate marks of all subjects shown on the grade sheet will be considered for determining the passing percentage if the relevant Board has not established any regulations regarding aggregate marks.

IIM Ranchi IPMAT 2026 Exam Pattern

IIM Ranchi IPMAT Program paper pattern follows IPMAT Indore's format.

The IPMAT Indore exam will last 2 hours and consist of 90 questions. Below are the IPMAT Indore sections and the duration provided for each section:

IIM Ranchi IPMAT Program  Course Curriculum 2026

The Integrated Programme in Management is an entirely residential program.

It is divided into nine terms, which last three years. Following the fifth term, students are required to participate in a SIIP (Social Internship Immersion Programme).

A final assessment is conducted at the end of the third year, and students must have a minimum CGPA of 4.5 to be promoted to the MBA program following the third year. The regular MBA program is followed in the fourth and fifth years.

Admission Guidelines for IIM Ranchi IPMAT Program 2026

Below is the guidelines for Indian Institute of Management Ranchi course admissions:

1. Submit Before Deadline: Ensure your IPMAT 2026 application form is submitted before the deadline.
2. Early Submission: To avoid a last-minute rush, candidates are encouraged to submit their applications as soon as possible.
3. Verify Information: Double-check all information before paying the application fee and submitting the form.
4. No Changes After Payment: Once the application fee is paid, no changes can be made. If necessary, cancel the current application and reapply using a different email address.
5. Regular Updates: Check your registered email address (including Spam, Promotion, and other folders), the IIM Ranchi website, and your registered mobile number regularly for updates and notifications from IIM Ranchi. The institute will not be responsible for missed communications.
6. Grade/CGPA Conversion: Convert Grades or CGPA to an equivalent percentage as per your board's instructions.
7. Accepted Scores: Only the IPMAT 2026 score conducted by IIM Indore will be accepted for the IPM 2026-31 program at IIM Ranchi.
8. Personal Interview (PI): The PI will be held in New Delhi, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Bangalore & Ranchi in offline mode. The mode and centres for the PI process may be subject to change.

Placements for the IIM Ranchi IPMAT Program are expected to occur concurrently with the Postgraduate Programme (PGP) batch, following the same practice as at IIM Indore.

• Valid Documents: Candidates must possess a valid category certificate (EWS/NC-OBC/SC/ST/DAP) at the time of application and admission.
