Important IIM IPMAT Exam Day Instructions 2026

You must follow certain rules and regulations on the day of the IPMAT Exam. In the IPMAT admit card, the following directions have been added for you:

• You must print and bring the two pages of the A4 admit card to the centre. Ensure that the signature and photograph are printed legibly. Take a colour printout to ensure this is the case.
• You must paste the exact copy of the photograph that was uploaded in the form earlier on the IPMAT exam admit card.
• Remember to take your original Photo ID to the centre. The ID card should be the same one printed on your admit card for IPMAT 2026. If your admit card on page 2 includes an Aadhar card, you must take your original Aadhar card with you. Make sure it is not damaged.

• Ensure to carry all the required documents to the exam centre without fail; otherwise, you will not be allowed to take the exam.
• You must reach the exam centre at least an hour before the commencement of the examination.
• You can enter the exam hall only after the invigilator has checked your documents.
• You are not allowed to leave the exam hall before the completion of the exam or during the exam.
• Follow the dress code on the day of the exam.
• You can only do rough work on the space in the exam booklet/rough sheet provided by the examination centre.

• Electronic devices and gadgets cannot be carried inside the exam hall.
• No stationery items, such as pens, pencils, or paper, are allowed inside the exam hall. The examination centre will provide a pen and a rough sheet. 
• Ensure you are not carrying strictly prohibited items, such as paper chits, to the test centre.
• You won't be allowed to enter the exam centre after the reporting time written in the admit card.
