IPMAT 2021 was successfully conducted by IIM Indore and IIM Rohtak separately on two days for admissions to the Five-Year Integrated Program in Management (IPM). The final selection for admission is based on the scores of IPMAT and Interview.

IIM Indore had scheduled the entrance exam for 16th July while IIM Rohtak scheduled the exam for 17th July 2021.

Overall the examination was a moderate level of difficulty.

The short answer-type questions were difficult compared to MCQ.

A surprising element in IPMAT 2021 is that the question paper included an LR set instead of DI. There were some missing elements that had to be filled in using logical thinking and answer the given questions.

In an AP s5= s9, where s is the sum of terms. Find a3:a5. Ans: 9:5

In a triangle, the angles A, B, and C are in an AP. If sin (2A+B) =1/2. Find Sin (B+2C). Ans: -1/2

Find the sum up to 10 terms of 1.3+5.7+7.9+....

A train leaves a point at 12 pm. 2 hours later another train leaves and crosses the first train at 8 pm. The sum of speeds was 140 kmph. What time will the second train cross the first if it leaves 5 hours later from starting point. Ans: 8 am next day.

The number of questions was reduced by 50% but the time was reduced only by 25%. This made the exam less lengthy and answer questions easily.

The paper was not very difficult for non-math background students

All the questions were doable. The overall good score will be more than 60%.

What is the IPMAT exam pattern of Aptitude Test?
