IBPS Interview Process and Results

Shortlisted candidates for the interviews are completely based on the IBPS SO Mains examination marks. No IBPS SO Prelims marks are considered for the interview process. The IBPS is tentatively to schedule the interview for IBPS SO in the month of February 2020. Candidates attending the IBPS SO interview are approximately three times the total number of vacancies. The interview process of IBPS SO is conducted by participating organizations and coordinated by the Nodal Bank in each State or Union Territory candidates need to appear for the interview in specified centers in their respective states. The detail interview pattern is given in a tabulated format below:

IBPS SO Final Results Scores

The final results of IBPS SO provisional allotment is calculated on the given formula: Total Score for Final Allotment = {(Marks Obtained in Mains Exam / 100) x 80} + {( Marks Obtained in Interview / 100) x 20}. Here the IBPS SO Mains score is converted into 80 and IBPS SO Interview score is converted into 20. Suppose a candidate has scored 70 marks in mains exam out of 100, and 78 marks in the interview out of 100, final allotment score will be calculated as [(70/100)x80] + [(78/100) x 20]. The weightage is given to the IBPS SO Mains exam and the final scorecard is a combination of 80:20. The Final IBPS SO Results or Provisional Allotments will be declared in the month of April 2020.

(35% i.e, 35 marks (For SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD candidates)

The IBPS announces the result of the interview along with the final merit list. The candidates who fail to secure the qualifying marks, will not be provided their marks.

IBPS SO Final Results Scores

The final results of IBPS SO provisional allotment is calculated on the given formula: Total Score for Final Allotment = {(Marks Obtained in Mains Exam / 100) x 80} + {( Marks Obtained in Interview / 100) x 20}. Here the IBPS SO Mains score is converted into 80 and IBPS SO Interview score is converted into 20. Suppose a candidate has scored 70 marks in mains exam out of 100, and 78 marks in the interview out of 100, final allotment score will be calculated as [(70/100)x80] + [(78/100) x 20]. The weightage is given to the IBPS SO Mains exam and the final scorecard is a combination of 80:20. The Final IBPS SO Results or Provisional Allotments will be declared in the month of April 2020.

IBPS SO Cut Off 2020

The IBPS SO Cut-Off for the year has been provided below for the reference of the aspirants to check the previous year’s cut-off scores.

  • The IBPS SO 2020 Cut-Off will be determined by the minimum marks scored by the candidates to qualify the exams.
  • The minimum marks have to be scored in each of the sections as well as the overall section.
  • The IBPS SO cut-off depends upon the level and pattern of the examination.
  • The qualifying ratio with the total number of vacancies also determines the cut-off scores.
  • The marking scheme, reservation norms, and previous year cut-off trends are also vital influential factors for cut-off establishment.

IBPS SO Eligibility Criteria 2019

Fulfilling the Eligibility Criteria is very important before a candidate is willing to apply for a post. Candidates willing to apply for IBPS SO Exam 2019, can go through the detailed eligibility criteria provided below and fill the application forms. In the Eligibility Criteria, there are three categories that each candidate needs to satisfy. These categories are: Nationality, Age Limit, and Educational Qualification.

1. Nationality

  • Candidates must be a citizen of India
  • A resident of Bhutan or Nepal
  • A refugee from Tibet, who have migrated and intends to stay in India permanently.
  • People of Indian origin who have migrated from Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Myanmar and East African countries with the intention of settling in India permanently.

2. Age Limit

Candidates willing to apply must be aged between 20 and 30 years as on November 27, 2019. The age relaxation rules are as applicable based on the below table.

Candidates filling the application forms correctly will receive the IBPS SO Admit Card through online mode. There will be separate Admit Cards issued for the Prelims and Mains exam. IBPS will be releasing the IBPS SO Admit Card a week or 10 days before the exam commences.

  • IBPS SO Call Letter is a very important document to be carried to the exam center.
  • Candidates without the IBPS SO Hall Ticket will not be allowed to take up the exam.
  • It is suggested by exam authorities to download the IBPS SO 2019 Admit Card and take color print out so that the photograph is clearly visible.

IBPS SO Result 2019

As per the IBPS SO Exam dates, the results for Prelims and Mains will be released separately. Candidates qualifying the Prelims exam above cut off will be eligible for Mains and candidates qualifying Mains will be eligible for Interview.

  • But for Final Merit List, IBPS considers the combined marks scored in Prelims, Mains, and Interview.
  • Candidates qualifying all three stages will receive an appointment letter for their applied posts.
  • Generally, IBPS SO Prelims Result will be released after 3 weeks of examination.

IBPS SO Cut Off 2019

After completion of each stage, IBPS will be releasing IBPS SO Cut off Marks 2019 to filter out candidates for the next stages. Candidates who score more than the cut off marks will be eligible for the next stages. The cut off marks are determined based on various factors like

  • Number of vacancies
  • Number of candidates appeared in the exam
  • Difficulty level of the paper

Agriculture Field Officer:

  • They will be mainly responsible for the promotion of rural banking.
  • Loan inspections and recovery in rural areas.
  • Lead Generation.
  • Co-ordinating with other RRBs, NABARD, and other organizations.

HR/ Personnel Officer:

  • The primary job of Personnel officer will be conduction of training for the employees.

Marketing Officer:
