RBI Grade B Cutoff 2017 – Phase 1 & 2 Cut Off

The official advertisement for recruitment of RBI Grade B Officers was released recently. A total number of 166 vacancies were announced via this notice. The preliminary exam will be held on 16th August 2018. There is around 1 and a half months left to prepare for the exam. We advise you to set your target score well before starting the exam preparation. Going through the cut off scores of previous years will help you set the target. You should always aim to score at least 20 to 30 marks above the cut off score to be on the safer side.

RBI Grade B Cutoff 2017 – Major Highlights

The RBI Grade B recruitment is based on 3 phases i.e. – Phase I, Phase II & Interview. In order to sit for Phase II round, you need to surpass the cutoff marks which will be applied to two stages-

  1. Sectional Cutoff – In phase 1, you need to clear the cut off of every section. If you fail to clear the cutoff marks, you won’t be able to clear the exam.
  2. Overall Cutoff – Overall cutoff mark is equally important. If you fail to clear the overall cutoff – even if you clear the sectional cutoff – you will not be able to clear the exam.

RBI Grade B Cutoff 2017 – Factors affecting cutoff

The factors which affect the cut off are –
