  • Through RBI Grade B 2019 Exam, the government will recruit eligible candidates to the post of Officer in Reserve Bank of India.

Pre-requisites for Applying Online

  • Before applying for online process candidates should have the scanned copies of-
    • Photograph (4.5 cm * 3.5  cm)
    • Signature
    • Left Thumb Impression
    • A handwritten declaration (Text given below)

Ensuring that all these scanned documents adhere to the required specifications as given below.

  • Signature in CAPITAL LETTERS will not be accepted.
  • The thumb impression should be clearly scanned and not smudged (the applicants who do not have a left hand can also use their right thumb for applying).
  • The text for Handwritten Declaration is as follows-
    • “I, _______ (Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required.”
    • The handwritten declaration should be in candidates handwriting in English Language only.
    • If the declaration is written and uploaded by any other person or in another language, the application will be considered as Invalid.
    • In the case of Visually Impaired candidates who cannot write may get the text of declaration typed and put their left-hand thumb the impression below the typed declaration and upload the document as per specifications.
  • Keep the necessary documents ready at the time of Online Payment for the RBI Grade B online process as in the form of Application Fee or Intimation Charges.
  • Aspirants have a valid personal Email ID and Mobile Number, which should be kept active till the completion of this Online Process.
  • The Board does not send any communication by any other mode than E-mail/SMS. No change in E-mail ID will be entertained during the entire process of recruitment.

Steps to Fill RBI Grade B Application Form 2019

RBI Grade B Application FormStep 1 – Fill Basic Details

  • Click on “Apply online for RBI Grade B 2019”
  • A new window opens called “Click Here for New Registration” to register themselves for the post.
  • Fill in basic personal details like Name, Address, Category, Email ID, date of birth, contact number and academic details.
  • After the registration process is complete, a new password is auto-generated.
  • Candidates can use the provisional password and registration sent via email and then change the password if needed.

Step 2 – Upload Photograph and Signature

  • Candidates need to upload your photograph and signature as per specification.
  • The Online Application of the candidates will not be registered unless the photograph, signature, thumb impression, and handwritten declaration as specified.
  • The photograph should be in a passport size image clicked with a light-colored background.
  • If flash is using while taking the picture, no red will be detected in the photograph.
  • Caps, hats and dark glasses are not acceptable.
  • Religious headwear is allowed but it must not cover your face.
  • The photograph should have a resolution of 200×230 px and should have a file size between 20kb – 50kb. The file should be in JPEG or JPG format.
  • Candidates have to sign on white paper in black color in a box of 2 cm x 5 cm.
  • The size of the scan copies not more than 50 kb.
  • Set the scanner resolution to a minimum of 200 dpi (dots per inch).
  • The signature should have a resolution of 140 x 60 px and file size of 10kb-20kb.
  • The file should be in JPEG or JPG format.
  • If the file size and format are not as prescribed, an error message will be displayed.

Step 3 – Fill up education Qualification and other details

Have to fill the educational qualification and other details like nationality, state of domicile, or if you have appeared earlier for the exam.

Step 4 – Preview the application form

  • Before hitting the submit button, ensure all the details mentioned in the RBI Grade B Application Form are correct.
  • Assure that there are no spelling errors or factual errors in the name, educational qualification or any other details that you might have missed or entered wrongly without paying attention.
  • Save the form and modify the details if required.
  • After verifying all details, click on the “Final Submit” button.

Step 5 – Payment for fees for Application

  • Click on the ‘Payment’ Tab and proceed to make the payment.
  • Candidates can pay only through online mode.
  • Candidates can pay through all types of online methods like debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, and RuPay), credit cards, mobile wallets, and Internet banking.
  • An e-receipt will be generated after the completion of the payment.
