Exam Pattern for SBI SME 2017

SBI SME is an objective type of test conducted online. It features sections like General Awareness with a section There are two categories of exam for SBI SME MMGS II and SBI SME MMGS III. The online test will be of 2 hours duration and maximum marks will be 200. Questions were asked from the following subjects:

·         Reasoning

·         Data Interpretation & Analysis

·         Banking Awareness

·         General Awareness

 SBI SME Payscale: 

The salary and pay structure of SBI SME posts are as below:

• Middle Management Grade Scale II : Rs. 31,705 – 45,950
• Middle Management Grade Scale III : 42,020 – 51,490. 

SBI SME Interview:

Those who pass the online test will have to attend the Interview/Group Disussion.The marks you secure in Online Examination will be normalized to out of 75 and marks secured in Group Discussion/ Interview (out of 50 marks) will be normalized to out of 25. The final merit list will be arrived at after aggregating normalized marks of Online Examination and Group Exercise & Interview.

SBI SME Merit List 2017

Based on the marks secured by the candidate and SBI SME cut off marks, a merit list will be prepared. The cut off will be different for each category. Those candidates whose name appear in the merit list will be called for the next round i.e Interview/GD.

Minimum Educational Qualification:

For SME(Banking) MMGS Grade-III: CA / ICWA / ACS / MBA (Finance) or equivalent post graduation degree in Finance.

For SME(Banking) MMGS Grade-II: CA / ICWA / ACS / MBA (Finance) or equivalent post graduation degree in Finance.

Age Limit:

For SME(Banking) MMGS Grade-III: 25 to 40 years

For SME(Banking) MMGS Grade-II: 25 to 35 years

Age Relaxations:

Experience Required:

For SME(Banking) MMGS Grade-III: Minimum 5 years post qualification experience as an executive in Supervisory / Management role in:

a) A schedule Commercial Bank / Associate or subsidiary of a Schedule Commercial Bank OR

b) A public sector Financial Institution/ Company or listed Financial Institution / Company.

And

Out of this a minimum 2 years experience in Corporate / SME Credit. Candidates having experience in processing of credit proposals are preferred.

For SME(Banking) MMGS Grade-II: Minimum 2 years post qualification experience as an executive in Supervisory / Management role in:

c) A schedule Commercial Bank / Associate or subsidiary of a Schedule Commercial Bank OR

d) A public sector Financial Institution/ Company or listed Financial Institution / Company.

Candidates having experience in processing of credit proposals are preferred.
