IBPS RRB PO Mains Result – What Next?

As the mains result has been already out, now candidate should be geared up for the next round i.e Interview. The shortlisted candidates will be called for Interview. IBPS RRB PO interview will be out off 100 marks. Candidate need to secure minimum 40% marks (35% for SC/ST). The ratio of CWE and Interview marks will be 80:20 and the final score will be decided based on the marks secured in mains and interview together. A local language proficiency test will also be there.

IBPS RRB Eligibility Criteria 2018

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection has released the official notice for recruitment of Office Assistant and Officer in Scale I, II, and III. The application process will start from 8th June 2018. And the last date to apply is 2nd July 2018. Before you start applying, it’s advisable to check the IBPS RRB Eligibility Criteria in detail. IBPS RRB Eligibility Criteria 2018

Nationality

You must one of the following –

  • Citizen of India
  • Subject of Nepal
  • Subject of Bhutan
  • Tibetan refugee (who migrated before 1st January 1962)
  • Indian origin person who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambi, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam.

Also, if you are not a citizen of India, the Government of India should issue a certificate of eligibility in your favour.

Age Limit
  • Officer Scale III (Senior Manager) – You must be between 21 to 40 years of age as on 1st June 2018.
  • Officer Scale II (Manager) – You must be between 21 to 32 years of age as on 1st June 2018.
  • Assistant Manager i.e. Officer Scale I – You must be between 18 to 30 years of age as on 1st June 2018.
  • Office Assistant (Multipurpose) – You must be between 18 to 28 years of age as on 1st June 2018.

However, age relaxation rules apply for the reserved categories – 3 years for OBC, 5 years for SC/ST, and 10 years for PwD candidates.

Educational Qualifications
  • Office Assistant – You must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University. Also, you must be proficient in the local language.
  • Officer Scale I – You must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University. Also, you must be proficient in the local language.
  • Officer Scale II – You must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with minimum 50% marks from a recognized University. For Specialist positions, you must have a degree in the relevant discipline. For the post of Treasury Manager and Marketing Officer, you must have an MBA in Finance and Marketing, respectively.
  • Officer Scale III – You must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with minimum 50% marks from a recognized University.

For all the above, the result should have been declared on or before 2nd July 2018.

Experience
  • General Banking Officer (Officer Scale II) – You must have 2 years experience as an officer in a bank or financial institution.
  • Officer Scale II (Specialist Officer)
    • Information Technology Officer, Chartered Account, Treasury Manager, Marketing Officer – You must have minimum 1 year experience in the relevant trade.
    • Law Officer – You must have minimum 2 years experience as an advocate or Law Officer in a Bank or financial institute.
    • Agricultural Officer – You must have minimum 2 years experience in the relevant trade.
  • Officer Scale III – You must have minimum 5 years experience as an Officer in a Bank or financial institute.
