IBPS RRB Prelims Admit Card 2016

Attention all IBPS RRB aspirants! The Institute of Banking Personnel (IBPS) has released notifications for admit cards download for Office Assistant (Multipurpose) preliminary exam. The Officer Scale I examination is scheduled on 5th and 6th November 2016 and the preliminary examination for posts of Office Assistant posts is scheduled on 12th, 13th and 19th November 2016. The admit cards for Officer Scale I examination will be available till 6th November and for Office Assistant (Multipurpose) posts they will be available till 19th November. The first and foremost thing you need to do to download admit cards is to enter their registration no/ roll no and password/ date of birth. There will be no provision of posts and all the candidates will have to download their admit cards online.

The admit card would contain the following details:

  • Candidate’s roll number
  • Name of the Candidate
  • Examination Dates
  • Venue of the examination
  • Slots of the examination
  • Address of test venue
  • Candidate’s registration number
  • General exam oriented instructions

What are the details required for downloading the admit card? Well, there are a very few details required. All you have to do is just enter the registration number and date of birth/ password in the admit card login page.

IBPS RRB 2016 Admit Card: Points to remember :

  • Please make sure you attach a photocopy of your govt. id such as license, ration card, voter id, passport etc.
  • Please write your name, registration number, roll number and put your initials on the photo copy of the ID Proof.
  • An original photo ID proof such as passport/Adhar/PAN Card/Driving Licence/ Voter’s Card/Bank Passbook with duly attested Photograph/Identity Card issued by School or College/Gazetted Officer in the official letterhead in original as well as a self-attested Photocopy thereof should be carried by the candidate.
  • Please make sure you carry a recent passport sized photograph which should be identical to the one provided during registration.
  • Please attach the passport sized photograph in the designated place. Do not paste the photograph in any random place. Don’t staple the photograph.
  • Carry a photocopy of the admit card and staple it to the printout of the admit card. If possible, carry extra photocopies as well to be on the safe side.
  • Please submit a photocopy of Identity proof along with call letter to the invigilators in the examination hall. If you fail doing it, you will be disqualified for the test.
  • IBPS will not send you hard copies of the admit cards. You will only receive the soft copies of the admit card.

IBPS has recently called the aspirant candidates for the recruitment of RRB assistant multipurpose for the post of officer for scale 1 and scale 2. The recruitments are done to post the deserving and qualified candidates in the public sector banks and the government financial institutes across the country. RRB Officer Scale 1: Candidates who have degree from the recognized university and proficiency in any local language along with computer awareness can enroll for the scale 1 job. However the preference is given to those candidates who have degree in agriculture, horticulture, animal husbandry, engineering, management, law, economics and accountancy etc.

RRB Officer Scale 2:The recruitment authority has different eligibly criteria for officer scale 2 (general banking officer) as it seeks for the candidates having 50% of aggregate marks in graduation and the preference is given to those who have degree in banking, finance, agriculture, marketing, animal husbandry etc. For the Scale 2 (specialist officer), the candidate should have degree in electronics / communication / computer science / information technology and minimum 50% aggregate and one year experience. 1. Highest Scoring: The topics that can enable you to fetch highest marks include data interpretation, permutation and combinations, sequence and series, number system and simplification. The candidates must focus on the data interpretation as it alone contains 15 marks of questions.

2. Difficult Topics: Mixture and Allegation, Sequence and Series and Simplification are bit of difficult level and can take some time to solve. However regular practice and understanding of the concepts would help you to solve these questions on time.

3. Learn percentage table and arithmetic tricks: To tackle the quantitative aptitude the candidate should have strong hold over basic calculations. You can learn tricks of doing basic arithmetic operations in less time.
