Selection Procedure of SBI PO Exam 2016

It is very important to know how SBI selects potential and suitable candidates through its SBI PO Exam process. There is a rigid procedure that is followed every year to hire capable probationary officers. 5. The most important thing is that there is sectional cutoff in SBI PO Preliminary 2016 Examination which means that candidate need to qualify in all the three mentioned above sections with the minimum marks.
5. The total time allotted is 60 minutes (1 hour) for SBI PO Preliminary 2016 Examination. There is no fixed time for any section; you can start with any section and end with any.
5. This is an online examination that means you are required to mark all the answers on the computer system; you must make sure that you mark responses carefully.

5. SBI PO Main Exam 2016 shall be divided into two prime sections:

• Objective Test
• Descriptive Test

5. Both the SBI PO objective and Descriptive tests shall be conducted online. Objective test will have multiple choice questions, while Descriptive test requires writing on computer through the keyboard on specific questions asked.
5. Objective test is further comprised of 200 questions in total organized in 4 major sections. You are required to pass in every section as there is sectional cut off criteria.
5. Objective test will have defined time limit for each of its section.
5. The total time allotted is 180 minutes (3 hours) for SBI PO Main 2016 Examination. For first two hours you are required to complete objective test; for the next 1 hour, you are required to write descriptive paper.
