Follow the steps given below to check the SBI PO Mains 2016 results:

  • Visit the official website of State Bank of India (SBI) and log in (i.e. http://www.sbi.co.in/ )
  • Enter all the necessary details like Roll No/ Registration No and Date of Birth/ Password.
  • Click on the submit button when you are done with entering the details.
  • The SBI PO Mains 2016 scorecard will appear on the screen. It will display some of the necessary info like marks obtained, qualifying marks, total marks etc.

SBI PO Mains 2016 results: Important highlights

  • The SBI PO results 2016 will only be announced for those candidates who will pass the online entrance test. According to the criteria of selection, the candidates have to score the passing marks in each section– English Language, General Awareness, Marketing & Computers, Test of Data Analysis & Interpretation and Reasoning. A descriptive test of English Language of 30 minutes will also be conducted. The candidates need to pass in each of the given subjects in order to qualify the SBI PO 2016 exam. The performance of all the competing candidates will be taken together into consideration in order to decide the passing marks of the exam. Candidates have to score a minimum percentage marks as decided by the SBI to qualify the SBI PO 2016 mains exam. For SC/ST/OBC/PWD/XS candidates, a relaxation of 5% marks will be applicable while determining the qualifying marks. The number of candidates appearing in the online exam and difficulty level of the paper will serve as the deciding factors for finalizing the minimum percentage marks.
  • Based on their corresponding ranks in the merit list in the ratio of maximum 3 candidates per vacancy, the candidates will be invited for the rounds of “Group Discussion (20 marks)” & “Interview (30 marks)”. They need to obtain a minimum percentage (to be decided by SBI) in the interview round which will be considered for the final selection for the posts.

·         5 Questions to combine 2 sentences and make correct sentence using a Starter .This was also tough.

·         5 Questions to fill up the sentences in passage which was also tough section.

This section of the SBI PO Mains 2016 detailed Exam review states that it was very tough.

       

          - SECTION - Reasoning & Computer Aptitude

This section of the SBI PO Mains 2016 exam was very tough. Questions were from –

  • Puzzle – It was tough containing 5 questions  -7 people belongs to different cities & different profession.
  • Sitting Arrangement - It was also tough containing 5 questions - 10 People sitting North South but total seats was 12 and two seats were vacant.
  • Input Output - It was a tough section containing 5 questions - Double shifting.
  • Inequality –This was a section which was comparatively better than other sections. Moderate section with 5 questions.
  • Data sufficiency – Having 3to5 moderate questions, this was also a good section to score.
  • Number Coding – This section had 5 questions .
  • Coding Decoding Section – About 3 to 5 questions were asked from this section.
  • Logical Reasoning – This was the section on- Reasoning & Computer Aptitude with majority number of question .From this section about 15 questions was asked.
    • COMPUTER APTITUTE SECTION – In this part questions were asked based on the given flowchart.

                                     - SECTION – Data Analysis & Interpretation

  • his section of the SBI PO Mains 2016 exam was a tough level to crack.
