2. For this year, the SSC CGL examination is scheduled between 27th August 2016 and 11th September 2016. The Admit Cards or Admission certificates for SSC CGL 2016 examinations will be available by 10th August.
3. The Candidates need to appear for the examination in 2 shifts during the first three days of the examination i.e. 27-8-2016 to 29-8-2016.
4. The Candidates need to appear in 3 shifts during rest of the days i.e. 30-8-2016 to 11-9-2016.

The SSC CGL Tier I examination will be conducted on May 8^th and May 22^nd. The admit card is anticipated to be released on 10^th August 2016. The candidates those who have registered themselves can download it from the official website.

SSC CGL Admit card: It is a document with the help of which you will be allowed to enter in the examination hall. It will be provided to only those candidates who will submit their online applications for SSC CGL Tier I 2016 examination.

All the essential details like roll number, examination venue, exam date and other information can be found on the admit card. The SSC CGL 2016 examination will be conducted in all total of three tiers as given below:

• Tier I- Written examination (Objective test)
• Tier II- Written examination (Objective test)
• Tier III- Computer proficiency test/ skill test (wherever applicable)/ document verification

The interview section has been eliminated from the procedure. So, there will be no more interviews.

SSC CGL Tier I Pattern:

The commission may also make a preliminary selection of the applicants on their basis of their educational qualification.

• Admit card is a mandatory document to be carried with you if you wish to appear the SSC CGL Tier I examination.
• In case you fail to download the admit cards, you can contact the regional office of SSC and get your admit card by providing an evidence of your Application No/ Reference No.
