UPSC CDS I Admit Card 2019 is out on the official website. The candidates can download the admit card by logging into the official website of UPSC through the direct link provided in this post. The applicants can log in by entering the Registration Number and DOB (Date of Birth). UPSC CDS I 2019, which is going to be conducted on 3rd February 2019 will need an admit card for the admission inside the Examination hall. Applicants are advised to download the official UPSC CDS 1 Hall Ticket as soon as possible to avoid any technical hindrance.

About CDS

Combined Defence Services (CDS) exam is organized by Union Public Service Commission for the entrance to the Defence forces. CDS examination consists of 3 papers of English, General awareness and Mathematics. The candidates applying for OTA will have to test for 2 papers of English and General Awareness. The candidates selected through OTA will join either OTA Chennai/Gaya. Candidates selected through CDS applying for Army or Air Force will join Indian Military Academy, Dehradun and the candidate’s applying for Navy will join Indian Naval Academy (INA Ezhimala).

What after UPSC CDS II Result 2018?

All the candidates who have successfully cleared the UPSC CDS II Examination will be eligible for the interview process organized by Service Selection Board (SSB). It will be conducted at various SSB Centres across the nation. This term, a total of 7650 candidates will appear for Interview.

  • Indian Naval Academy: Degree in Engineering from a recognized Institute/University.
  • Airforce Academy: Degree from a recognized Institute/University( with Physics and Mathematics in 10+2) or Bachelor’s of Engineering.

UPSC CDS Exam Pattern – UPSC CDS Recruitment Notification 2019

There are two phases of the exam –

  • Written test and Intelligence
  • Personality test.

Written Exam Pattern

 Subjects Marks Duration
 Elementary Mathematics  100  2 hrs
 English  100  2 hrs
 General Knowledge (G.K)  100  2 hrs

For admission to Officer’s Training Academy, the Elementary Mathematics paper is not there.

Furthermore, all the questions are of objective nature. And you have to sit for the exam in offline mode.

Elementary Mathematics questions will be of the 10th Standard level. And for the other subjects, questions will be such as may be expected from a graduate of an Indian University

  4. After that, in part 2, you need to make the application fee payment. Also, you have to upload scanned copies of your photograph and signature.

  6. Finally, submit the form

Also, do note that you can not make any changes once you submit.

UPSC CDS Application Fee – UPSC CDS Recruitment Notification 2019

You have to pay Rs.200 as application fee. But if you are a woman or belong to SC/ST category, you don’t have to pay any fee.
