The Institute of Banking Personnel (IBPS) has released notifications for recruitment of under Specialist Officers (IT Officer (Scale I)) for the year 2017. The scores for the online exam are obtained by adopting the following method:

1. Number of questions answered correctly is considered for arriving at the corrected score after applying penalty for wrong answers.

• Topics like Error spotting, gap fillers, idioms and phrases, etc. are easy to solve and scoring enough if solved properly.
• The difficulty level of ‘Reading Comprehension’ and ’Jumbled Sentences’ are a bit higher level than easy and a bit tough as compared to the easy topics mentioned above.
• For jumbled sentences, try to assemble and arrange two sentences at first. Then, you will easily catch the flow and will easily be able to arrange the rest.
• Go through English newspapers and articles. It will improve your written as well as spoken English skills.

NABARD Development Assistant Mains Exam 2016: Exam Pattern

The Mains paper will comprise of five sections. The total paper will be of 150 questions from all total of 5 sections and a descriptive test of 50 marks. The five sections are as follows:

• English language
• Quantitative Aptitude
• General Awareness
• Computer Knowledge
• Reasoning

Notes:

1. The time duration for objective test will be of 90 minutes and for descriptive test will be 30 minutes. The total time will be 120 minutes. Every wrong answer will lead to a deduction of 1/4^th mark.
2. In the section of ‘General Awareness’, special focus will be on topics like agriculture, rural development, banking, etc.
3. The candidates need to qualify in every section individually. The candidates need to attain the min qualifying marks in each section to qualify for descriptive test.
