SSC MTS Free Mock Test Series

This article provides a list of last minute preparation tips for SSC MTS.

Tips for SSC MTS:

  • Do not worry about the level of difficulty, or level of competition, just keep preparing well for the exam.
  • Time is the main factor, utilize the time you have in hand. Time management in your preparation plays a pivotal role. Stay focused and make it a stress-free preparation. Manage your time according to the syllabus and patter. Refer to the article SSC MTS Section Wise Preparation Tips.
  • After time management comes how well you work on speed and accuracy. Practice mock tests, online SSC MTS practice material will be available. Solve previous years’ papers to improve your speed and accuracy, that’s the only way to respond within the time and to review before wrapping up the paper. Speed is not the only thing to be improved to achieve success. The candidates must work on accuracy and time management.

Why is Accuracy important:

As you all know that there is a negative marking of 0.25 marks per each incorrect answer. Strategically, if you answer 25 questions correctly with accuracy, leaving little time for other questions that will land you in trouble. Therefore, try to attempt the section you are thorough in, so that, you can answer quickly and correctly.

Revise the easier topics:

Always, start your preparation or revision with the easier topics or the topics you know. That way, you will have much time for the difficult ones. Prepare quick notes or flashcards with bullet items for revision whenever possible. During the last minute preparation, what happens is you end up mixing up things and are stressed out. Even if it is a last minute preparation, follow these tips so that your preparation meets all the required elements for a successful attempt in SSC MTS.

The syllabus is huge, so it is essential for the candidates to prepare strategically. You are the best judge to check your knowledge in each subject and make a preparation schedule.
