Staff Selection Commission conducts Combined Graduate Level exam to recruit candidates for various vacancies in departments and ministries under Government of India. SSC CGL has seen as many as 20 lakh candidates appearing for the tier-1 exam in 2016-17. This year we can expect around 30 lakh candidates appearing for over 20,000 vacancies.

SSC has released the SSC exam calendar for the year 2017. As per the official SSC exam calendar, the Commission will invite applications for the CGLE 2017 in the month of March.

The Important Dates for SSC CGL 2017 is given below:

SSC CGL Application Form 2017:

The application form can be obtained from the official website of Staff Selection Commission. The apply mode will be online and offline.

Selection Procedure for SSC CGL 2017:

SSC will organise Selection process in 4 Stages as mentioned below:

• Tier-1: Written Exam(Objective Type) (200 Marks)
• Tier-2: Written Exam(Objective Type) (200 marks for each paper i.e paper 1 and paper 2)
• Tier-3: Written Exam(Descriptive Type) (100 Marks)
• Tier-4: Computer Typing Test/Skill Test(as per the post)

SSC CGL 2017 Eligibility:

Education: The candidates must have attained graduation from a recognized university.

Age Limit:  The age limit is increased by the commission for this year. The earlier age limit was from 18 to 27 years (General Category). The new age limit for 2017 is 20 to 30 years. Age will be counted on 1st August 2017 for the SSC CGL exam 2017.

SSC CGL Pay Scale:

SSC offers competitive pay scale for selected candidates in SSC CGL Group B Recruitment 2017 of Rs.54, 864 to Rs.61, 424 plus 4800 Grade Pay.

SSC CGL 2017 Application Fees:

The application fees for the candidates applying for Group 'B' posts will be Rs.100/-

1. Visit the Official website of SSC i.e ssc.nic.in.
2. Check for the SSC CGL Notification at the Notices section at the top.
3. Candidates need to read the advertisement carefully.
4. After reading the details, fill the application form.
5. Upload the recent passport size photograph and signature as per the required specification.
6. Verify the filled details.
7. Make the required payments i.e Application fees. It can be paid online.
8. Submit the form.
9. The confirmation will be issued and the SSC CGL application 2017 will be submitted.
10. Take a printout of the application copy for future reference.
