Syllabus of Mathematics for CTET 2017: CTET is an important exam for all aspiring Teachers. It is the gateway to get into CBSE schools as teachers. Teaching is one of the most best jobs in the world and teachers give a lot to society by giving knowledge to students and helping us becoming a civilized society. The article explores Syllabus for Mathematics in both Paper I and Paper II of the CTET exam. While mathematics is a specialized subject in Paper-II, we have also included syllabus for Paper I of the CTET exam.

Papers in CTET 2017:

There will be two papers of CTET 2017

(i) Paper I will be for a person who intents to be a teacher for classes I to V.

(ii) Paper II will be for a person who intents to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.

A person who intents to be a teacher for both levels (classes I to V and classes VI to VIII) will have to appear in both the papers (Paper I and Paper II).

Here BSF Stands for Border security Force, CISF stands for Central Industrial Security force, ITBF stands for Indo-Tibetan border force, while SSB stands for Shastra Seema Bal and comes under the Ministry of Home affairs. Salary in CAPF may vary according to the different forces.

SSC CGL Tier 1 Paper:

There are 100 questions and the exam is out of 200 marks. The exam is conducted for a duration of 60 minutes, but for candidates with disabilities the time is 80 minutes. There is a negative marking scheme of 0.50 or half mark for every wrong answer. According to SSC CGL 2017 notification pdf, the new duration of the exam has been changed from 75 minutes to 60 minutes.

SSC CHSL 2015 Document Verification (DV)

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts many significant exams every year for the recruitment of Government employees to various posts. Among them is the SSC CHSL (Combined Higher Secondary Level) exam which is held throughout the country in all major cities. SSC conducts this exam in two phases -Tier 1 and Tier 2.

A Tier 3 (Skill test/Typing test) is conducted for the Data Entry Operator (DEO) post. The exam pattern of SSC CHSL Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 examination is-

SSC CHSL Tier 1

The Tier 1 paper consists of 100 objective type questions based on the following sections:
