As per the Iatest notice released by SSC, the SSC CGL 2017 exam is going to be held from 5th August to 24th August 2017. SSC Admit cards will also be issued shortly so we suggest all candidates to stay tuned with the official website of SSC for latest and authentic information. We will also update the latest of information received on SSC CGL 2017 Exam Postponed on our blog.
The Candidates may refer to the official notice of Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2017 released on SSC website on 16.5.2017. There will be no exam on 7th, 13th, 14th and 15th August 2017.
The SSC CGL 2017 or SSC Combined Graduate Level exam every year for recruitment to non-technical Group B and Group C non-gazetted posts in various departments and ministries of the Government of India.
SSC CGL:
SSC CGL is abbreviated as Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate level examination. SSC CGL Tier I exam will take place in different slots between 5th August 2017 to 24th August 2017. The SSC CGL 2017 notification will be uploaded on the official website on 16th may 2017.

SSC CGL Exam Pattern
SSC CGL Tier 1 Paper:
There are 100 questions and the exam is out of 200 marks. The exam is conducted for a duration of 60 minutes, but for candidates with disabilities the time is 80 minutes. There is a negative marking scheme of 0.50 or half mark for every wrong answer. According to SSC CGL 2017 notification pdf, the new duration of the exam has been changed from 75 minutes to 60 minutes.
