According to the criteria of selection, the candidates have to score the passing marks in each section– English Language, General Awareness, Marketing & Computers, Test of Data Analysis & Interpretation and Reasoning. A descriptive test of English Language of 30 minutes will also be conducted. The candidates need to pass in each of the given subjects in order to qualify the SBI PO 2016 exam. The performance of all the competing candidates will be taken together into consideration in order to decide the passing marks of the exam. Candidates have to score a minimum percentage marks as decided by the SBI to qualify the SBI PO 2016 mains exam. For SC/ST/OBC/PWD/XS candidates, a relaxation of 5% marks will be applicable while determining the qualifying marks. The number of candidates appearing in the online exam and difficulty level of the paper will serve as the deciding factors for finalizing the minimum percentage marks.
• Based on their corresponding ranks in the merit list in the ratio of maximum 3 candidates per vacancy, the candidates will be invited for the rounds of “Group Discussion (20 marks)” & “Interview (30 marks)”. They need to obtain a minimum percentage (to be decided by SBI) in the interview round which will be considered for the final selection for the posts.
