IBPS Clerk 2016: Process of Application

IBPS Clerk Application Process

The IBPS or Institute of Banking Personnel has started the application process for IBPS Clerk 2016 from 22nd August 2016. The last date for submission of IBPS Clerk Application Form 2016 is September 19, 2016. The payment of the Application Fees can be done till September 12, 2016. The Online Editing of Application Form will be allowed till 9th September 2016.

The last date for printing of IBPS Clerk Application Form 2016 is September 27, 2016. The candidates, before finally submitting their Application Form of IBPS Clerk 2016, are advised to preview it once in order to avoid silly mistakes because no correction or editing will be allowed after final submission of the application form. The candidates should also make sure that they fulfil the eligibility criteria of the IBPS Clerk 2016 before filling the application form.

IBPS Clerk 2016: Fees for application

The candidates should make payment of application fee through online mode. The table below shows the fees structure of IBPS Clerk 2016 (category-wise):

IBPS Clerk 2016: Prerequisites before application (Online Application)

The candidates before applying online should have some of these already ready with them:

  • Scanned copies of photograph and signature (Both the images need to be of 4.5 cm x 3.5 cm)
  • A personal valid email ID.
  • All the important documents/ details for online payment of the application fees
  • Educational certificates and all other important documents which will be necessary while filling up the application form.

  • Click on the link which says “Click here for new registration”
  • The candidates have to register themselves by filling in all the details asked like Name, DOB, Age, Email ID, Gender, Category, Communication address, and Contact details etc.
  • After you register, there will be generation of a provisional registration number and password. These details will be sent to the candidate via text message or email.
  • After this, upload the scanned copies of your photograph and signature
  • Then, fill in the other details such as education, qualification, past work experience (if any) and languages known.
  • Go through the entire form to avoid any mistakes which are clearly avoidable. Please note that you will not be able to edit the form once it gets submitted.
  • Make the payment of the application fees. You can make use of various online methods to make the payment. After successful payment of the application fee, there will be generation of an e- receipt which you need to keep with you for future reference.

IBPS Clerk 2016: Do’s and Do not’s during application process

  • The candidates need to provide all the correct details during application.
  • A candidate should not submit more than one application.
  • The candidate should clearly state name of the state which he/ she selects for provisional allotment.
  • The image of the signature should be in upper case (capital letters)
  • The candidate should note down the provisional registration number and password and save it safely.
  • After making the payment, please wait for the response from the server. Do not refresh or retry if you want to avoid to double payment.
  • In case the candidate is unable to fill in the application form in one attempt, he/ she can save the data which is already entered.
