4. A farm owner wants to get his farm painted. He is told that this would require 25 kg of paint. Allowing for 8.5% wastage and if the paint is available in 5.5 kg tins, the number of tins required for painting the house?

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection(IBPS) is conducting recruitment for the post 8822 Probationary Officers (PO) for the year 2016. The IBPS PO preliminary exam was held on 16th, 22nd , 23rd and 27th October 2016. The result of IBPS PO was declared on 4th November 2016. The candidates who are qualified in the pre exam can attend the IBPS PO Mains exam which will be held on 20th November. The Admit card for the Mains exam is available for download.


 

The score card for IBPS PO Prelims has been announced officially. Candidates can check the scores on or before Nov 20 from the official website.

Process for Arrriving at the IBPS PO Prelims scores: The process applied for obtaining the scores of the preliminary exam is as follows:

  1. Number of questions answered correctly by a candidate in each objective test is considered for arriving at the corrected score after applying the wrong answer.

  2. The corrected score so obtained by a candidate are made equivalent to take care of the difference in the difficulty level of the different question paper sets. The scores thus obtained is called 'Equated Scores'.

  3. Final scores are rounded off up to two decimal points.

Hello people,

Hope you are doing well! The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts the IBPS RRB Assistant Examination every year to recruit candidates for posts of “Office Assistant (Multipurpose)”. The level of difficulty of the examination remains relatively high in order to select candidates with genuine potentials. The examination will be conducted in two stages i.e. Preliminary examination followed by a Mains examination. The IBPS RRB Office Assistant Prelims Examination will be held on 12th, 13th and 19th November 2016. The results of the preliminary examination will be published in the month of December 2016 and the IBPS RRB Office Assistant Mains examination will be held on 18th December 2016.

The IBPS RRB Office Assistant (Multipurpose) examination consists of two sections- Reasoning and Numerical Ability as shown in the table below:

Please note that for the post of “Office Assistant”, there will be no interviews. The selection procedure will be entirely based on written test (objective test). For every incorrect response, a negative marking of 0. 25 marks will be applicable.

The Eligibility criteria for IBPS RRB Office Assistant post:

The age of the candidate should be in between 18- 28 years. The age relaxation can go up to 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD.

India Post Payment Bank (IPPB) has invited application for filling 2246 vacant posts for Scale II, III and V officers and Administrator posts. The recruitment exam for Scale 1 officers will be conducted on17th December 2016.

IPPB Officer Admit card 2016

 The call letters required to appear for IPPB Officer exam. India Post Payments Bank Limited will take written exam of Objective type for Officer Scale II, III and V on 17th December 2016. For that, admit card have been released .


Selection will consist of the following steps:

(i) Written Examination

(ii) Interview

The IPPB Admit Card 2016 have been made available by the India Post Payment Bank IPPB on its official website.

Steps to Download IPPB Admit Card 2016 Online

There are some simple steps that the candidates will have to follow on the official website of India Post Payment Bank IPPB to check their results.

Go to the official website of India Post Payment Bank IPPB

  1. Look for the ‘IPPB Admit Card 2016′ link and click on it.
  2. Fill in the required details and submit.
  3. It is advised to take a print out of the admit card for future reference.


 

Instructions for Candidates:

  • Documents needed at the Exam hall/venue:
  1. Valid IPPB Admit Card
  2. Photo Identity Proof (Aadhar Card, e-Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Driving License, Election Card, Bank Passbook, Passport or ID Card issued by School/College)
  3. Photocopy of Photo Identity Proof
  • Reach the venue at least 2 hours before the given time.
  • Candidates reporting after a specified time will not be allowed to take the test.
  • Any misconduct by the applicant in the premises may result in cancellation of candidature from future exams conducted by this department.

National Development Assistant and Rural Development (NABARD) conducts ‘Preliminary Examination’ on an annual basis to recruit eligible candidates for the posts of ‘Development Assistant”. This year i.e. 2016, NABARD has a target to recruit 85 number of vacancies.

The candidates who manage to qualify the Prelims will only get a chance to sit for the NABARD Mains examination. All they need is an effective preparation strategy along with self- confidence.
