IBPS RRB Office Assistant Prelims Exam 2016: Exam Pattern, Dates and Shift Timings

Hope you are doing well! The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts the IBPS RRB Assistant Examination every year to recruit candidates for posts of “Office Assistant (Multipurpose)”. The level of difficulty of the examination remains relatively high in order to select candidates with genuine potentials. The examination will be conducted in two stages i.e. Preliminary examination followed by a Mains examination. The IBPS RRB Office Assistant Prelims Examination will be held on 12^th, 13^th and 19^th November 2016. The results of the preliminary examination will be published in the month of December 2016 and the IBPS RRB Office Assistant Mains examination will be held on 18^th December 2016.

The IBPS RRB Office Assistant (Multipurpose) examination consists of two sections- Reasoning and Numerical Ability as shown in the table below:

Please note that for the post of “Office Assistant”, there will be no interviews. The selection procedure will be entirely based on written test (objective test). For every incorrect response, a negative marking of 0. 25 marks will be applicable.

The Eligibility criteria for IBPS RRB Office Assistant post:

The age of the candidate should be in between 18- 28 years. The age relaxation can go up to 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD.

• Coding-decoding

• Direction sense

• Syllogism

• Blood relations
