The number of vacancies are 1000 and the exam is to get admission in Manipal School of Banking, Bengaluru for 1-year PG diploma in Banking and Finance (PGDBF). It is a 1-year course, which comprises of 9 months as classroom studies and 3 months of probation in IDBI bank branches. The course fees is Rs. 3, 50,000/-. The selected candidates would have to sign a service bond for a minimum period of 3 years or shall have to pay an estimated sum of 2-lakh rupees. If a candidate leaves the services of IDBI bank before the completion of 3 years, he/she will have to clear the outstanding dues of educational loan at the applicable card rate is he/she opted for educational loan from IDBI Bank, this is in addition to the 2-lakh rupees mentioned above.

The selection procedure includes online examination and the successful candidate would be called for a personal interview. During the interview, the applicants have an option either to answer in Hindi or English. The final shortlisting of candidates happen among the qualifying candidates. The candidate must be medically fit and must fulfil all the eligibility criteria apart from the marks secured in online test and interview. On successful completion of the course, Manipal University will award a certificate to the candidate.

The first section is Reasoning ability, which requires about 35 Minutes. Any vague question can be answered at the end if it seems to take longer than needed to answer. Details for the post of IDBI (PGDBF) Assistant Manager:
