Details for the post of IDBI (PGDBF) Assistant Manager:

The number of vacancies are 1000 and the exam is to get admission in Manipal School of Banking, Bengaluru for 1-year PG diploma in Banking and Finance (PGDBF). The course structure goes like this – 9 Months of classroom studies at MGES, Bengaluru followed by 3 months internship at IDBI Bank’s branches.

Selection procedure:

There will be an online exam followed by an interview later.

Service Bond and program fees:

The candidate would have to sign a bond period of 3 years minimum from the date of joining Bank’s service or has to pay a bond of two Lakh rupees. The total fees is Rs. 3, 50,000/- excluding the service tax. The fees can be paid in instalments as per a fixed schedule.

Compensations:

During the training period of 9 months, a stipend of Rs. 2500/- per month. During the internship of 3 months, Rs. 10000 will be paid as stipend. After a successful completion of the course, candidates get a posting as IDBI (PGDBF) AM in IDBI with a basic pay of Rs. 14,500/-.

Reasoning Ability:

Seating Arrangement, Puzzles, Inequality, Syllogism, Input-Output, Data-sufficiency, Logical Reasoning, Miscellaneous topics like blood relations, order and ranking, alphanumeric series.

English Language:

Reading Comprehension, Cloze test, Spotting errors, Sentence Improvement/Correction, Para jumbles.

Quantitative Aptitude:

Number series, Simplification / Approximation, Data Interpretation, Quadratic Equations, Miscellaneous Topics such as basic arithmetic, Partnership, Ratio & Proportion, Probability etc.
