The time allocation given for each section in this article is after researching at our end by interviewing various toppers of SBI PO. Below are the time management tips for SBI Prelims (online):

• Reasoning: 20 Minutes
• English: 10 Minutes
• Quantitative Aptitude: 28 Minutes
• 2 Minutes to review

Your own style of time allocation depends on the areas where you perform better. If you are strong in Math, chances are bright for you to quickly finish answering the questions in that particular section. So, you may end up spending less time in the Quant section. Thus, allowing you more time in the sections which may be a challenge for you.

If you already have a strategy in place, you may just stick on to that.  However, you may use this time allocation strategy as a guideline. • If you are thorough with reasoning as well, then it is a time saver. You could use the saved time in Data Analysis & Interpretation. If you take a look at the pattern, duration for this section is 45 Minutes for 35 questions which means there are chances that the questions can be tricky, so prepare for the worst.
