Syndicate Bank PO Exam Syllabus & Pattern- Complete Details

Syndicate Bank is one of the oldest commercial banks of India. It released a notification for the Managerial post, the tentative date of Bank PO online exam is on 26th February, 2017. Call letter for the examination is after 14th February 14, 2017.  The Syndicate Bank selection procedure is via Written Test, personal Interview / Group Discussion. Applicants should have completed their graduation with 60% marks from a recognized university/board. This article provides the exam Syllabus and Pattern.

Positions & Course structure:

The total positions opened are 400. It invites the young graduates interested in banking career for the admission of 1 year Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance course in Manipal Global Education Services Pvt Ltd., Bengaluru and Nitte Education International Pvt Ltd.

Type of Exam, Pattern & Marks:

The exam is conducted for 200 Marks and the duration is 2 Hours, it is an online exam and an objective type. There is a negative marking of 0.5 for each wrong answer. Below is the pattern:

Reasoning:

Questions related to Seating Arrangement, Puzzles, Inequality, Syllogism, Input-Output, Data-sufficiency, Logical Reasoning, Miscellaneous topics like blood relations, order and ranking, alphanumeric series.

Quantitative Aptitude:

Whole Numbers, Decimals, fractions and relationship between numbers, Percentage, Square roots, Number series, Simplification / Approximation, Data Interpretation, Quadratic Equations, Miscellaneous Topics such as basic arithmetic, Partnership, Ratio & Proportion, Probability, Basic Algebra, Averages, Partnership Business, Mixture and Alligation, Time & Distance, Time & Work, Graphs of Linear Equations, Geometry, Co-ordinate geometry, Trigonometry.

English Language:

Verb, Subject-Verb agreement, Tenses, Verbs, Adverbs, Articles, Sentence Rearrangement, Fill in the Blanks, Comprehension, Vocabulary, Synonyms, Unseen Passages, Idioms and phrases, Antonyms etc.

General Awareness:

Questions from the Current Affairs & Awareness topics relevant to Banking (Keep yourself updated). This section may include questions on Books & authors, Currencies, Important Places, Awards, Headquarters, Prime Ministers Schemes, and Important Days etc, International and National Organizations, History, Geography, Environment, Indian Economy, General Science.
