SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam dates, shift timing, schedule

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Tier- II examination 2016 is scheduled from November 30. The candidates can check the official notification of the SSC CGL Tier II exam on the official website of SSC. The SSC CGL Tier 2 examination will be as per the following pattern based on different posts:

SSC CGL Tier 2 Syllabus and Pattern 2016

The SSC CGL Tier 2 exam dates  and Shift timings are as follows: 

On Day 1, i.e exam commencement date - 30 October 2016 - there paper 1 of Quantitative Aptitude and paper 2 of English Language will be conducted in two shifts. The slot time/shift timing for paper 1 will be from 10 AM to 12 PM. The Paper 2 will  start at 2.45 PM and end by 4.45 PM . Similar exam schedule will be followed for SSC CGL tier 2 on the second day( 1st December).  On Day 3 i. e 2nd December 2016,  optional papers of Statistics (Paper -3) will be conducted from 10 AM to 12 PM and General Studies (Paper -4) will be conducted from 2.45 PM to 4.45 PM. The final day (3rd December) will have only one shift , which is afternoon shift for Paper 4. 

In summary, SSC CGL Tier 2 will be held in 4 days and shifts will be morning and evening for different papers. SSC Stenographer Grade C and D 2016: Results

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) recruits candidates on annual basis for the posts of ‘SSC Stenographer Grade C and Grade D’. The process of recruitment is of two separate steps:

  1. A written level examination

  2. A skill test with requirement of typing speed of 100 w.p.m (for SSC Stenographer grade C) and 80 w.p.m (for SSC Stenographer grade D).

SSC Stenographer Grade C and D: Criteria of Eligibility

  • The minimum qualification is 12th Standard pass or any other equivalent examination from a recognized institution.

  • The criteria of age limit of the candidate must be in between 18 - 27 years as on 1st August 2016.

SSC Stenographer Grade C and Grade D 2016: Results

Results of ‘SSC Stenographer Grade C and Grade D 2016’ will be published on 1st December 2016. The final merit list of SSC Stenographer Grade C and D Exam 2016 will come along with the results.
