Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Tier II examination is on the way and students are all set to prepare well. The SSC CGL Tier II examination will be held from 30^th November 2016 to 3^rd December 2016. The exam will be conducted in two slots i.e. Slot 1 will be from 10: 00 AM to 12:00 PM and slot 2 timings would be 2: 45 PM to 4: 45 PM. In order to add to the efforts of the students, we present you questions asked in the previous years along with the expected cut- off. The total number of vacancies of SSC CGL are 8, 624 in the year of 2016. Let us look at the pattern of the SSC CGL Tier II 2016:

The pattern of SSC CGL Tier II is based on the preferences of posts by the candidates:

SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam 2016: Previous Year Questions

English Language:

English Language has been one of the scoring sections in CGL exams. You may make a good attempt of 55- 60 questions to clear the sectional cut- off.

Numerical Abilities:

Numerical Abilities can be an easy section if you regularly practice questions from the frequently asked topics in SSC CGL exams. If you make a good attempt of 50- 55 questions, you may safely clear the cut – off marks.

SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam 2016: Expected Cut- off Marks

Cut- off marks is the total marks required to qualify a level or phase of an exam. SSC CGL Tier II Cut off marks is based on some factors like difficulty level of papers, number of candidates, number of vacancies etc. It varies from different categories and states. Let us take a look at the SSC CGL Tier 2 2015 and 2016 cut- off marks:

The cut off marks will be based on the marks obtained in Tier-I and Tier-II and as per cut off marks fixed by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC)

i) List-I: All Interview Posts;

ii) List-II: Statistical Investigator/Compiler and;

iii) List-III: All non-interview posts

List I: Candidates who qualified for all interviews posts (other than the post of Statistical Investigator/ Compiler)
