Answer: There are 3 important criteria which we have mentioned in SSC CHSL FAQs, which a candidate must fulfill in order to be eligible for the SSC CHSL 2018. The 3 parameters are given below:

1. Citizenship: Candidate must be a citizen of India.

2. Age Limit:18-27 years as on 01.08.2018 (Candidates born not before 02-08-1991 and not later than 01-08-2000).

Answer: Tentative vacancies for the posts of LDC/ JSA, Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant and DEO are 898, 2359, 2 and Data Entry Operator Grade”A”- Nil, respectively. Tentatively the vacancies for the post of Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant, LDC, DEO and Court Clerks are 3259 respectively.

6.Is there any Relaxation in Age for SSC CHSL Examination?

Answer: We all know that reservation is in force, and as such, candidates from reserved categories are given relaxation in age Limit. 

7.I have scored only 45% marks in 12th Class, can I fill this form?

Answer: Central Govt. recruitment is based on the merit system, for written exam is conducted. Fewer marks in 12th do not create any problem. There are no such specific criteria, you can go ahead.

8.What is the Written Examination Dates for SSC CHSL 2017 Examination?

Answer: SSC CHSL Exam 2017 Tier I will be conducted from 04.03.2018 to 26.03.2018.

CISF or Central Industrial Security Force has invited online applications for Indian Male citizens for filling up the temporary posts of Constable Tradesman for other posts like Barber, Boot Maker, Cook, Carpenter, Electrician, Mason, Mali, Painter, Sweeper, Plumber and Washerman in the Level 3 Pay matrix of Rs. 21, 700 to Rs. 69, 100 along with allowances that central government employees are eligible from time to time. There are a total of 378 Vacancies for various posts.

Eligibility Criteria: Candidate must be between 18 to 23 years as on 01.08.2017. An upper age limit of 5 years will be admissible for persons domiciled in the state of J&K. Upper age limit of 5 years relaxable to dependents of victims killed in 1984 riots and Gujarat 2002 riots. Only Male candidates must apply for constable /Tradesman posts.

Education qualification: Candidate should have passed Class 10 or matriculation from a recognized board or university for skilled trades. Candidates passed from industrial training institute trained personnel will be preferred. It is mandatory for candidates to have passed Matriculation or SSC.

Staff Selection Commission has released the Instructions for Delhi Police Constables Exam 2016-17. You must follow these strictly to avoid any hurdle in your selection process.

Let us first see the Delhi Police Exam Pattern.

If you qualify the written test, you have to go through the Physical Efficiency Test and Medical Test. Do note that there is no negative marking for wrong attempts.

SSC Notice of Important Instructions for Delhi Police Constables Exam 2016-17

Following are the instructions as mentioned in the notice.

1. PROHIBITED ITEMS such as watches, books, pens, paper chits, magazines, electronic gadgets (mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, head phones, pen/buttonhole cameras, scanner, calculator, storage devices etc) are strictly not allowed in the examination lab.

2. Pen/pencil and paper for rough work would be provided in the examination lab. Electronic watch (timer) will be available on the computer screen allotted to the candidates.

3. It is reiterated that Candidates should not bring Bags and prohibited items as mentioned above to the examination venue. In case they bring any such item, they would have to make their own arrangements for safe custody of such items. The Commission shall not make any arrangement nor be responsible for the safe custody of any such item.

4. If any such item is found in the possession of a candidate in the examination lab, his/her candidature liable to be cancelled and legal/criminal proceedings could be initiated against him/her. He/she would also liable to be

   debarred from appearing in future examinations of the Commission for a period of 3 years.

5. Candidates should not wear charms, veil, items containing metals such as ring, bracelet, earrings, nose-pin, chains, necklace, pendants, badge, brooch, hair pin, hair band, clothes with full sleeves or big buttons, etc. Candidates are advised to wear open footwear like chappal, flotter, instead of shoes as the candidates would be asked

   to remove shoes by the frisking staff.

6. Candidates are cautioned that they should appear only once for the recruitment of Temporary Constables (Executive) – Male and Female In Delhi Police Examination – 2016. Any candidate, who appears more than once for the examination, would not only be disqualified from the said examination but would also be debarred for three years from all examinations conducted by the Commission.

7. Candidates must also refrain from creating any obstruction during the conduct of the Temporary Constables (Executive) – Male and Female In Delhi Police Examination – 2016. If any candidate is found obstructing the conduct of the examination or creating disturbances at the examination venue, his/her candidature shall be summarily cancelled. Such candidate shall also be liable to be debarred from future examinations of the Commission and legal/criminal proceedings could be initiated against him/her.

8. It may also be noted that no re-examination would be conducted if it is found that the examination was disrupted on account of instigation by the candidates.

9. Candidates are advised to strictly adhere to the Reporting Time mentioned in their Admit Cards. They are required to reach the examination venue well in time. No entry, under any circumstances, would be allowed after the entry closing time.
