UPSC Engineering Service Exam 2017: Apply Online

Union Public Service Commission works under the government of India to recruit staff for various posts in the various ministries and departments of the government and in subordinate offices.

The Union Public Service Commission has released a notification regarding 2017 Engineering Services Examination. There are around 440 vacancies from Civil, Mechanical , Electrical and Electronics & Telecommunication. This is a golden chance for engineering graduates to get into the government sector. The last date to apply for the exam is October 26, 2016.

Educational Qualification:

The Candidate must hold a bachelor degree in Engineering from a reputed university or similar institution.

UPSC Exam New Pattern 2017:

New pattern will be implemented from the year 2017 onwards.

Selection process:
The Engineering Services Examination will be conducted in three stages: 1) The preliminary 2) The Main 3) The Personality Test. There will be negative marking for wrong answers by a candidate in the objective type question papers. And the candidates will be selected according to their marks in the entire three exams.

Exam fee:
Candidates (excepting female/SC/ST/ PH who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay a fee of Rs 200.
