2. What is the Eligibility to apply for CHSL 2018 Exam?

Answer: There are 3 important criteria which we have mentioned in SSC CHSL FAQs, which a candidate must fulfill in order to be eligible for the SSC CHSL 2018. The 3 parameters are given below:

1. Citizenship: Candidate must be a citizen of India.

2. Age Limit:18-27 years as on 01.08.2018 (Candidates born not before 02-08-1991 and not later than 01-08-2000).

3. Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.

3.Is there any negative marking on SSC CHSL examination?


Answer: Yes.

4. How many vacancies are there in SSC CHSL 2018?

Answer: Tentative vacancies for the posts of LDC/ JSA, Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant and DEO are 898, 2359, 2 and Data Entry Operator Grade”A”- Nil, respectively. Tentatively the vacancies for the post of Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant, LDC, DEO and Court Clerks are 3259 respectively. 



5.What is pay scale for these posts?

Answer: We all know that reservation is in force, and as such, candidates from reserved categories are given relaxation in age Limit. 

7.I have scored only 45% marks in 12th Class, can I fill this form?


Answer: Central Govt. recruitment is based on the merit system, for written exam is conducted. Fewer marks in 12th do not create any problem. There are no such specific criteria, you can go ahead.

8.What is the Written Examination Dates for SSC CHSL 2017 Examination?


Answer: SSC CHSL Exam 2017 Tier I will be conducted from 04.03.2018 to 26.03.2018.

9.What is the Exam pattern of Tier-I & Tier-II Examination?

7 SSC CHSL Reasoning Tips

Staff Selection Commission released the SSC CHSL notification on 18th November 2017. The application submission started on the same date. You can apply until 18th December 2017 for the same. Tier II Paper of CHSL 2015 :

SSC CHSL Tier-II Paper will be a descriptive Paper of 100 Marks in ‘Pen and Paper Mode. The duration of the paper would be for one hour. This paper is to assess the writing skills of the candidates required in Government jobs. Candidate needs to attempt the paper in Hindi or English, there is no bilingual.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts many significant exams every year for the recruitment of Government employees to various posts. Among them is the SSC CHSL (Combined Higher Secondary Level) exam which is held throughout the country in all major cities. SSC conducts this exam in two phases -Tier 1 and Tier 2.

A Tier 3 (Skill test/Typing test) is conducted for the Data Entry Operator (DEO) post. The exam pattern of SSC CHSL Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 examination is-

SSC CHSL Tier 1

The Tier 1 paper consists of 100 objective type questions based on the following sections:

The details which will be required to download the Combined Higher Secondary Level Tier 2 Admit Card 2017 are

  • Name
  • Date of Birth
  • Registration ID

Follow the step- by- step procedure to download the SSC CHSL Admit Card

Step 1: Visit the respective regional website of SSC from the table given above.

Step 2: Click on the option which says “Know your Roll No.”.

Step 3: The candidates will have to enter details like Name, Date of Birth and Registration ID wherever asked. The roll number will be generated after this process.

Step 4: Click on the link which says ‘Download Admit card’.

Step 5: You need to enter your Roll number to generate the Admit card. Take a printout and keep it safe to carry it on the day of examination.

SSC CHSL Tier-I  2017 Answer Key Released

SSC CHSL Tier-1 exam was conducted from January 7, 2017 to February 8, 2017. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the answer keys for Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) Tier-I exams 2017 on its official website.


 

The question paper and the answer sets are available at the website of SSC and can be downloaded after you login. The Tier-I has received 64,09,965 applications for the examination.


 

Steps to Check the SSC CHSL Tier-I  Answer Key:

  • Visit the Official website of SSC. 
  • Click on the Answer Key Tab
  • Enter your roll no./registration number and password and choose the question paper set of the paper to get the answer key.
  • Match the answer key to get an idea of the marks.
