Indian Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) conducted an online exam for the recruitment of Non-Technical posts. The RRB NTPC exam, an online exam, was held from 28 March to 30 April 2016.

There were more than 18,000 vacant seats for which around 92 lakhs candidates appeared. The next phase of the NTPC exam is scheduled in the month of December. The result of NTPC exam is released zone wise.

The RRB Thiruvananthapuram has uploaded the result for test purpose. All the railway zones will be uploading the results on their respective websites. The results will be officially available by next week.

The Dates of Second stage exam is announced by Railway Recruitment Board which is scheduled to be conducted on December 19th, 20th & 21st 2016.

Some of the significant announcement made by the ‘Railway Board’ are as follows:

• Any kind of objections/ remarks on the question/ answer keys by the students were invited and considered by the board. After these considerations, the question papers, the answer keys and responses of the candidates shall be again made available on the website of RRB in the month of September/ October 2016.
• As per the earlier notifications on 10^th September 2016, the “Railway Recruitment Board” will hold a second stage. CBT i.e. Computer Based Test. The test will be held for various NTPC (Graduate) category posts, in accordance to the paragraphs 8. 12 and 14. 03 of CEN No. 03/ 2015. The number of candidates called for 2^nd stage CBT will be 15 times of the available vacancies. The candidates will be called on the basis of the merit position in the CBT conducted during the dates: 28^th August 2016 to 3^rd September 2016.
• The final list of selection of the candidates will be based on the following

• Merit position scored by the candidates/ aspirants in the CBT- second stage (and/ or)
• Result obtained in the “Aptitude Section” (and/ or)
• Skills in typing (Wherever applicable)

• The normalization process of the marks will be based on the rules existing in the 1^st and 2^nd stage of the Computer Based Test.
• The 2^nd stage is anticipated to contain questions from the following sections:

• General Awareness
• Arithmetic
• General Intelligence and Reasoning

• The entire duration or time slot of the second slot of CBT will be all total of 90 minutes and the paper will comprise of 120 objective questions.

The heat is on! The results of  RRB NTPC Examination 2016 has been published. The RRB (Railway Recruitment Board) invites applications for 18, 252 posts every year. The posts include Assistant Station Master, Clerk, Commercial Apprentice, Senior clerk cum typist, Traffic assistant, Accountant assistant cum typist etc.

This year RRB NTPC exam consisted of 100 MCQ of total 100 marks. There is negative marks of 1/3 for each wrong answer. The marks distribution is as follows:

Recently RRB conducted online examination for a total of 18272 vacancies for Non-technical vacancy  for the recruitment of Goods Guard, Junior Accounts Assistant-cum-Typist, Enquiry-cum-Reservation Clerk, Traffic Apprentice, Clerk-cum-Typist, Commercial Apprentice, Assistant Station Master, Traffic Assistant & Senior Time Keeper posts. 

The advertisement (CEN 03/2015) regarding the exam was published in December 2015. Nearly 1 crore candidates appeared in the examination. They are eagerly waiting for the result of RRB NTPC 2016. 

In an important update regarding the result, RRB has informed that the final results are being processed and further update regarding the result date of RRB NTPC 2016 will be issued within 15 days. Since the details are confidential in nature, it can't be revealed at the moment as per RRB notice. So, you may have to wait for another fortnight for a clear picture.

Steps to check RRB NTPC Result 2016:
1. Select your railway zone and visit their website. For Example – RRB Allahabad , RRB Thiruvanathapuram etc.
2. Go to the result section.
3. Check for CEN 03/15 Notification
4. Login with your registration no. & password.
5. Take a printout of the result for further reference.

RRB Merit List 2016:

After the declaration of result, merit list will be drawn based on the post. The candidates in the merit list are eligible for the interview. Certain posts need further skill test( typing test etc.).

The selection of the candidates for the posts of CA, ECRC, Goods Guard & TA will be done through Single stage computer based test followed by document verification

The selection of the candidates for the posts of Sr. Clerk cum typist, Junior Account Assistant, and St. Time Keeper will be done through Single stage computer based test, Typing skill test followed by document verification.

The selection of the candidates for the posts of ASM and traffic assistant will be done through Single stage computer based test, Aptitude test followed by document verification.
All the candidates are advised to keep the documents ready for the verification process.
