SSC CHSL Tier-I  2017 Answer Key Released

SSC CHSL Tier-1 exam was conducted from January 7, 2017 to February 8, 2017. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the answer keys for Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) Tier-I exams 2017 on its official website.


 

The question paper and the answer sets are available at the website of SSC and can be downloaded after you login. The Tier-I has received 64,09,965 applications for the examination.


 

Steps to Check the SSC CHSL Tier-I  Answer Key:

  • Visit the Official website of SSC. 
  • Click on the Answer Key Tab
  • Enter your roll no./registration number and password and choose the question paper set of the paper to get the answer key.
  • Match the answer key to get an idea of the marks.

SSC MTS Exam Pattern:

The Written Examination is divided into (Paper-I) objective type paper and (Paper-II) descriptive type as shown below:-

  • Paper-I will be consists of Objective Type – Multiple Choice Questions
  • There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
  • Paper-II will be descriptive in which the candidates will be required to write short essay in English include in the 8th Schedule of the constitution.

SSC MTS Admit Card 2017 – Check Application Status

The SSC MTS exam in taking place in 2 stages. The Stage 1 is an objective type written exam of 150 marks of total 2 hours duration. The Stage 2 i.e. descriptive paper. Upon clearing the descriptive paper, you will be recruited to General Central Service Group ‘C’ Non – Gazetted, Non – Ministerial posts in various Central Government Ministries / Departments / Offices, in different States/ Union Territories.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is a govt. organization which works under government of India to filter out candidates and select them for posts in various ministries, departments and subordinate offices.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially released notifications with regard of Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGLE) Tier III admit cards on the official website of Staff Selection Commission (SSC) i.e. ssc.nic.in

Do you have an idea of what number of candidates might have qualified for SSC CGL Tier III? Well, the number is huge indeed! A strength of 56169 candidates have managed to get into Tier III examination. Moreover, the admit cards have been released for various regions.

The SSC CGL 2017 notification is out. Approximately 30 lakh candidates are appearing for the exam this year for 20, 000 vacancies. The SSC CGL 2017 Tier I exam was conducted from 9th June to 2nd June 2017.

Preparation tips for English:

The main areas one needs to focus are Vocabulary, Grammar, Reading Comprehension, and Verbal Ability, Idioms, Spelling Test, Sentence Completion and reading Comprehension.

  • Work on your vocabulary by reading Newspaper on a regular basis, make a note of vague words, and find out meanings. While reading Newspaper, two things are met. Your Current Affairs knowledge and vocabulary can be developed at the same time.
  • Get well versed with the rules of Grammar. Focus on Active/Passive voice and Direct/Indirect Speech.

SSC CGL Toppers Daily Study Schedule

SSC CGL is one of the most reputed exams conducted by the Staff Selection Commission of India. SSC CGL is a Combined Graduate Level Examination to recruit group B gazetted as well as non gazetted officers in various central government offices. This Examination is conducted once in a year. Every year, many graduates appear for this exam; however, a few successfully crack it. One needs to prepare with a lot of planning and dedication for a successful attempt.

The SSC CGL Exam Pattern:

It is conducted in Tier I, II, III followed by a Computer Skill Test / Skill Test. Tier I & II are online and Tier III is a written exam. The sections in Tier I are General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, English Comprehension. It is conducted for 200 marks and the duration is 75 minutes. Please be aware that there is a negative marking of 0.50 marks per each incorrect answer. The sections in Tier II are General Studies (Finance & Economics), Statistics, Quantitative Abilities, English language and Comprehension. It is for 200 Marks and the duration is 2 Hours, also has negative marking of 0.25 marks.

  1. Before preparing a study plan, the candidate must look into the syllabus as well as the individual strengths and weaknesses. Prepare a list of all the topics. If this kind of preparation is something new, you must give at least 5 days for memorizing the terms and formulae.
  2. If you are already in the process of preparing for any other competitive examination, then pick up a subject of your interest and start the plan.
  3. Make a study plan for a minimum of 10 hours in a day to cover all the subjects from the syllabus.
  4. Allocate 2 Hours for Reasoning, 4 Hours for Mathematics, 2 Hours for English and 2 Hours for General Awareness.

SSC CGL Notification

Staff Selection Commission declared the result of SSC CGL Tier II exam on Tuesday, 28 February 2017. As per the official report, 4795 candidates qualified for Tier III exam which will be conducted on March 19, 2017.

SSC CGLE Tier II exam was held from November 30 to December 2, 2016. The SSC also conducted re-examination for the same in January 2017 for some venues.

As per the "SSC (Cr) Notice, the time duration of the SSC exams 2017 and the scheme have changed for the Cr region (central region). A number of changes have been made and you can go through them in the details given below:

REVISED SCHEME OF SSC EXAMINATION 2017

A Computer Based Mode of Examination will be conducted which will consist of MCQ or Objective questions. This test will be separately conducted for posts with qualification (minimum) of Matriculation, Higher Secondary and Graduation and above levels.

Time Duration- The time duration of 60 minutes will be allotted for healthy candidates and 80 minutes for VH/OH (affected by Cerebral Palsy) and (OH with deforms in the hand used for writing).

There is a negative scoring of 0.25 marks per each incorrect answer. The candidates who clear the Paper I will be called for the Physical Efficiency Test. Paper II will be evaluated only for the candidates who clear PET.

SSC CPO SI Physical Pattern:

For Male Candidates:

  • 100 meters race in 16 seconds
  • 6 KMS race in 6.5 minutes
  • Long jump: 3.65 meters in 3 chances
  • High jump: – 1.2 meters in 3 chances
  • Shot up (16 laps): – 4.5 meters in 3 chances

For Female Candidates:

  • 100 meters race in 18 seconds
  • 800 meters race in 4 minutes
  • Long jump: – 2.7 meters in 3 chances
  • High jump: – 0.9 meters in 3 chances
