SSC JHT Marking scheme:

Negative Marking Scheme: While each question entails one mark, it also has .25 negative marks for every wrong answer.

The exam is categorised into two sections – Paper I and Paper II. While, Paper I has 200 MCQ’s in Hindi and English, the Paper II is a subjective type question paper with questions in Hindi and English. Since, the post is for Junior Hindi Translator, the tests will emphasise on these details and tests the expertise of the candidate in both the languages including correct usage of words, phrases and idioms an ability to write the languages The Paper Ii of the exam has subjective type of questionnaire and will be a written exam.

Evaluation: The candidates who score a good cutoff marks in Paper I will be eligible for applying in Paper II. While candidates have to appear for both the papers, only those qualifying for minimum marks in Paper I, will have their Paper II assessed. The commission or the board has the discretion to fix qualifying marks in Paper-II.
