The SSC authorities have modified the 'Username' for signing in to the 'Online Application System' for the candidates from 'Email ID' to 'Registration Number' only in order to better working of Online Application System. Eligibility for SSC CHSL Application Form

  • Firstly, candidates must possess the official certificates of their qualification
  • Secondly, they must be passed out from a recognized educational institution
Age limit
  • Candidates must be 18 to 27 years as on August 1, 2019
  • Those born between August 2, 1992, and August 1, 2001, are eligible for SSC CHSL

Nationality A candidate must be either:
  • a citizen of India, or
  • a subject of Nepal, or
  • a subject of Bhutan, or
  • a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
  • a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India

Details to fill SSC CHSL Application Form

There are some instructions all candidates must take care of while filling the form of SSC CHSL. All candidates must read the following guidelines:

  • Firstly, the candidates must read the important instructions given there while filling the form
  • Also, they must check the eligibility criteria. If they're eligible only then they must proceed to fill the form

SSC CHSL Payment Methods

There are two methods of paying for the SSC CHSL Application form:

  1. Offline mode (bank challan of SBI)
  2. Online mode  (Debit/Credit/SBI Net Banking)

Exam Fee: Rs.100/- (only for general category male candidates)

Specifications of Photograph

  • The size of the photo should be in between 4-12 kb
  • It should be in JPEG Format
  • Moreover, the resolution should be 100 pixels in width and 120 in height
  • The picture should be coloured and very clear
  • The background of the photo must be light coloured
  • The face of the candidate should be visible

Specifications of Signature

  • Firstly, candidates should sign on a white paper with black ink
  • The signature image must be very clear
  • Moreover, the size must be 1-12 kb
  • The picture should be in JPEG Format

How To Fill SSC CHSL Application Form 2018-19?

The process of filling SSC CHSL Application form is not a difficult task. The students can follow the steps given below in order to accurately fill the form:

Step 1

  • The forms are going to be out on 5th March 2019 on the official website of SSC
  • The candidates need to click on 'SSC CHSL Register'

  • Now the candidate will get an OTP on their phone number and e-mail which they have to fill in order to confirm their phone number and e-mail
  • After this, their phone number and e-mail id will get a registration id and password
