SSC CHSL 2017 Expected Cut Off Marks

Staff Selection Commission is conducting a recruitment exam for the selection of Lower Division Clerks (LDC) , Data Entry Operators(DEO), Clerk and Sorting Assistants. There are total 5134 number of vacancies. SSC CHSL exam will be conducted in two phases i.e Tier I and Tier II. The Tier I will be an online exam and Tier II will be a descriptive test.

The Tier I exam is scheduled from 7 January 2017 to 8 February 2017. We are presenting the expected cut off marks for the Tier I exam.

The cut off is the minimum marks needed to qualify for the exam. The cut off marks will depend on various factors and will select the best candidates fit for the post.

Factors which affect SSC CHSL Cut Off:

The SSC CHSL cut off marks will depend on the below mentioned factors:

  • Changes in exam pattern
  • Number of participating candidates
  • Number of Posts
  • Marking Scheme
  • Lowest and Avergae scores in the exam
  • Previous year's cut off

How to Check SSC CHSL cut off marks:

The cut off will be available on the website of SSC.

SSC CHSL cut off can be of two types:

  1. Actual Cut off : The actual cut off will be officially published by the commission.

  1. Expected Cut off : The expected cut off marks will be predicted by the experts based on the feedbacks and other factors.

There will be no sectional cut offs for SSC CHSL Tier 1 Exam 2017.

Based on cut off, the candidates will be called for Skill test and Typing test

  • Skill Test is for Data Entry Operators (also known as DEST).Data Entry Speed of 8,000 Key Depressions per hour on Computer.
  • Typing Test is for Lower Division Clerks and Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant.Typing Speed in ENGLISH of 35 words per minute.
