How is Tier Breaker Resolved in SSC CGL Scores?

If you are wondering how a tie is resolved between candidates who have scored the same marks in SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam, then here is the brief explanation.

  • In the case of two candidates having the same overall scores, then the priority is given to a candidate who has scored more in Tier 2 exam.
  • If still there is a tie, then their performance in the CGL 2018 Tier 2 Exam is taken into consideration.
  • If the tie still exists, then the marks secured in the Tier I exam are considered and the merit list is prepared accordingly.
  • If candidates have scored the same marks in Tier 1, then the tie will be resolved by comparing their Date of Birth. The older candidate is given higher priority.
  • If in case both candidates have same DOB, then candidates will be ranked in alphabetical order.

What after SSC CGL 2018 Tier II Result?

Candidates clearing the Combined Graduate Level Tier 2 Exam will have to appear for the Tier III exam. As per the recent SSC Calendar, the SSC CGL Tier III exam is scheduled for December 29, 2019. SSC CGL Tier 3 Exam is a descriptive exam conducted for 100 marks in which candidates have to write an essay/precis/letter/application etc.

Details regarding SSC CGL Result 2019 Tier 1

Candidates have the option of downloading the merit list from the official website only. So, there is some information that would be on the merit list:
