NVS Contract Teacher Recruitment 2017-18: Salary/Eligibility/Details
Navodya Vidyalaya Sangathan has released the notification for the recruitment of Contract basis/ Part time teacher vacancies. Interested and eligible candidates may apply offline before the last date of each region. There is no centralized application process and candidates need to apply for each post separately.
NVS Contract Teacher Eligibility Criteria 2017-18
NVS TGT Contractual Teacher Eligibility is as follows:
Take Paramount SSC Mock Tests
Bachelors Degree of equivalent from a recognised university with an aggregate of 50% marks or above in respective subject from a recognised university. Candidate should have passed B.Ed or equivalent from a recognized university. Candidate should also have passed Central Teacher Eligibility Test conducted by CBSE. Candidate should have knowledge of computer applications.
NVS PGT Contractual Teacher eligibility:
Two years integrated Post Gradudate M.SC/MA Course from Regional College of Education of NCERT in concerned subject with 50% marks in aggregate.
Candidate should have masters degree from recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in any of the following subjects:
B.Ed or equivalent qualification from a recognized university for PGT posts expect for Information Technology. Candidate should have good proficiency in teaching in both English and Hindi languages. Knowledge of computer application is also desirable for the post.
NVS Contractual Teacher Application and Selection Process 2017 -18:
Eligible and Interested candidates can send their application with the names of the post marked in block letters. Candidates can attend walk in interview along with original documents along with photocopies of marksheets along with work experience certificates and a recent passport size photograph. Final selection will be based on interview.

Candidates will have to apply region-wise. There are four regions, namely Chandigarh, Bhopal, Jaipur and Pune. Candidates will have to apply region-wise and will have to login to regional website of each NVS region.
