Selection Process:

Selection Process comprises of Knowledge Test, Physical Screening Test, and Physical Measurement Test. Candidates who fail in any of the rounds of selection will be eliminated in the particular screening process.

1. Knowledge Test (80% weightage)

 Knowledge Test shall comprise of General Studies, General Science, Current affairs, General Reasoning, Mental Aptitude, Numerical ability, Agriculture, Animal husbandry, other relevant fields/trades etc. It will also consist of 10 questions on Computer Aptitude. The difficulty level of the questions will be of 10+2 Examination.

2. Physical Screening Test:

Candidates who qualify in the Knowledge Test will be put in the Physical Screening Test.

Latest Update – HSSC had released an official notice stating the cancellation of recruitment to the post of Constable. The recruitment notification was released officially on 30th May 2017. Eligibility Criteria for HSSC Recruitment 2018

• Age Limit – You must be over the age of 42 years. However, age relaxation of 5 years is applicable for the reserved categories which includes – SC, ST, OBC, Ex-SM, PwD, EWS.
• Educational Qualifications – You must have cleared 10th and 12th Standard exam with First division. Also, you must be a Law Graduate from a recognized University.

Preference will be given to those candidates possessing LLM or any other higher qualification in Law.

ii)Heavy Motor Vehicle Driving License

iii) Hindi/ Sanskrit up to Matric Standard or higher education;

Haryana Staff Selection Commission has released the HSSC Recruitment Notification 2018 on 19th December 2018. If you are interested in this recruitment process, you can start applying from 1st January 2018. The last date to apply is 22nd January 2018 at midnight. However, you can pay the fee until 24th January 2018.

Eligibility Criteria for HSSC Recruitment Notification 2018

Fire Station Officer

• You must have a B.E. degree in Fire from a recognized University with minimum 55% marks. Or you must have a Bachelor’s degree in Science with Chemistry as one subject at Graduation level with minimum 55% marks.
• And you must have a Diploma in Fire Station Officer’s and Instructor’s Course from National Fire Service College, Nagpur.
• Also, you must have Hindi/Sanskrit up to 10th Standard.
• Minimum physical standards –  Height: 5 feet 7 inch, Weight – 54 kg, Chest – 32 inches unexpanded and 34 inches expanded, EyeSight – 6/6
• You must also have a heavy motor vehicle driving license.
• You must be between 17 to 42 years of age.

Sub-Fire Officer

• You must have a Bachelor’s degree in Science with Chemistry as one subject at Graduation level with minimum 55% marks.
• Also, you must have studied Sub Fire Officer’s Course from National Fire Service College, Nagpur.
