FCI Manager Recruitment - Eligibility Criteria 2019

As per the official notification, the FCI Eligibility Criteria 2019 is based on the Age Limit, Educational Qualification/ Experience, and Age Relaxation as per norms. Candidates can go through the following points for detail about eligibility-

Educational Qualification/ Experience

  • Graduate Degree or equivalent from recognized University or Institute with minimum 60% marks OR CA/ICWA/CS.
  • In case of SC/ST/PH candidates, the minimum percentage of marks shall be 55% instead of 60%.
  • Associate Membership of-
    • The Indian Institute of Chartered Accountant of India.
    • The Institute of Cost Accountants of India
    • The Institute of Company Secretaries of India
  • Any Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural/ Food Science & Technology/ Food Processing Technology/ Food Technology/ Food Preservation Technology/ Food Processing Engineering/  Bio-Technology/ Industrial

FCI Manager Recruitment - Exam Pattern 2019

  • For Prelims Exam (Phase 1) there are 3 sections- English Language, Reasoning Ability, and Numerical Aptitude.
    • There will a penalty of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer from the correct one.
    • A total of 100 questions will be asked for 1 mark each.
    • The time duration for the exam is 60 Minutes (1 Hour).
  • Mains Exam (Phase 2) has different Papers (I, II, III & IV) conduct on the basis of the post applied by the candidates.
    • All Paper (I, II, III & IV) has a total of 120 questions for 1 mark each.
    • The time duration of Paper-II is of 60 Minutes (1 Hour) and the Paper I, II & III are for 90 Minutes (1 Hour, 30 Minutes).
    • The exam will be both Objective and Descriptive.

FCI Recruitment for JE and Stenographer

The Food Corporation of India has released the notification to recruit 4103 individuals for the posts in various sectors like JE (Civil Engineering), JE (Electrical, Mechanical Engineering), Steno Grade - II, AG – II (Hindi), Typist (Hindi), AG – III (General), AG – III (Accounts), AG – III (Technician), and AG – (Depot)

FCI has released announced result and official cut off for the Phase 1 exam conducted from May 31, June 03, 2019.

FCI Result has been announced for all posts through one official link for each zone. The recruitment process involves other stages in the exam- Phase 2, Skill Test and Document Verification.

  • FCI Answer Key helps the candidates evaluate their performance in the exam prior to the result declaration.
  • FCI Result link has been announced officially on July 08, 2019.
  • Official FCI Cut off for each zone has also been announced. The highest cut off for Phase 1 is for the general category candidates.
  • Candidates qualifying Phase 1 will move to the further stages namely- Phase 2, Skill Test (only for Typist and Steno post) and Document Verification.
  • The final result for FCI Recruitment will be announced on the basis of candidate's performance in all the stages.
  • FCI Exam Dates for Phase 2 will be soon released on the official website. However, it is expected to be conducted in the month of August 2019.

FCI JE Exam Pattern

The online tests will comprise Phase I & Phase II exams. Phase I exam will be common for all the posts whereas the exam pattern for phase II exam will vary according to various posts. Below, we have mentioned the exam pattern for both- Phase I & Phase II examination. Phase I

The admit card for various posts under FCI was released on May 16, 2019, As FCI Recruitment will be conducted in 3 phases.

  • Now, enter registration number, password, and captcha.
  • Click on submit and a new page will appear with downloaded FCI Admit Card.
  • Save, download and take a print out of the official Hall Ticket for FCI

What is the Eligibility Criteria for FCI JE?

Application for the FCI will be subject to various Eligibility Criteria as mentioned below. Applicants must know the Age limit and Educational qualification for different posts before applying for the various posts in FCI Recruitment 2019.

Steno Grade - II 25 Graduate along with ‘O’ level qualification of DOEACC and speed of 40 wpm and 80 wpm in typing and shorthand respectively OR Degree in Computer Science/ Computer Application with a speed of 40 wpm and 80 wpm in typing and shorthand respectively.
AG-II (Hindi) 28 Essential A degree of a recognized University with Hindi as the main subject. Proficiency in English. One year experience of translation from English to Hindi and vice-versa. Desirable Post Graduate qualification in Hindi
Typist (Hindi) 25 Graduation or equivalent. 30 wpm speed in Hindi Typing. Preference will be given to the candidates knowing bilingual typing (English and Hindi) and Computer Knowledge.
